My fiance has been employed here on and off since 2018. New owners have taken over since last year. Since then there is no since of organization or authority what so ever . The employees do as they please with our any repercussions but yet she was forced into the “managing” position without the proper knowledge or tools to do so. Now they forced her hand in quitting the managing position to just be a cook . Just to get another EMPLOYEE not even themselves to reach out to her saying she’s fired and being taken off the schedule, due to “stealing time” from what means no idea her being clocked in on days or times she isn’t there because people need a managers code . Not only that the “new owners” have authorization to pull it up on their end and correct it at any time they get the schedules so know when she is or is not there. They have one cook there who rides the clock with nothing to show for it but isn’t let go for actually “stealing time” . I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone not even my dog if she or a few select employees were not there, even then it would be for the select people not because that place is good or clean or a nice environment. It’s disgusting, filthy and has roaches. They will hire just about anyone as well from convicted felons to actual idiots. But let go the one and only employee worth a damn there. Did she slack off ? Ofc she did she cried every day when she left in the morning and when she got home. The new owners do not care one bit about that place or their employees. If they did they would have air conditioning/heating, a full truck order , staff that gave af about that place and it would look a lot better . The place honestly should of been condemned after the previous owner . They went in a put bandaids on things that really needed to be done or fixed just to make a lil chunk change literally. The whole town of natchitoches has heard and witnessed the downfall of that place since Tony owned it . She told me how everyone actually loved what they did when he owned it and how none of the problems they have now were ever a problem then. The whole environment was uplifting now it’s just a drab and dreary disgusting environment for us as customers and her and the other employees. I don’t want to say don’t eat here only because of the few people that need the paycheck to support themselves and or family .. Most unprofessional , disrespectful owners and whoever Pam Green is to the owner . I’m sure if the health inspector was so go back there today they would be on the verge of shutting that place down. Terrible all the way around in any way to put it … She is and was overly qualified to work there . That is their loss not hers . I told her from the beginning if they or that place is stressing you out that bad don’t go stay or go back and she did everytime for the customers not...
Read moreOur server was very sweet. She took our drink orders and then returned to take our food order. In the middle of our food order she is interrupted from the other side of the booth by the manager on duty who asks if she took another tables' drink orders yet. She said no and was instructed to do so before completing our order. She leaves and comes back apologizing profusely for something that was no big deal and certainly not her fault. In the end, we were charged for things we never got such as cheese on hash browns and extra gravy. We requested those items be removed from the ticket and it obviously upset our server to realize the mess up. We reassured her these things happen but she was very emotional and when we looked to the end of the counter, she was crying. My husband went over to reassure her and double her tip. During this time, the cook (who had actually messed the food up) just came back in from smoking and assumed we made her cry and starts making derogatory comments regarding my husband making the girl cry to his presumed girlfriend who was sucking her teeth and making negative comments. I tried to inform them they were mistaken and my husband hadn't done anything. If anything he was trying to calm the server and reassure her. As we were leaving, once my husband was out the door the cook yells, "That's right, get the F#@k out". I turned around and went back to get his name which I will give to management in the morning. I should add the minute our food was served, the manager on duty and the cook went out to smoke with both of their significant others who were in the restaurant the entire time. This left the quite overwhelmed server to do everything herself. I will try to attach the pictures I took of the grill and floor area while they were smoking. The entire scene was...
Read moreWe stopped by on the way home and wish we hadn't. Our waitress at first was nice but all the workers were playing and not paying attention to us much. While we were waiting to order one employee was cleaning the counters with bleach spray. I watched him spray and wipe the same spots several times in a row before moving. The smell was so strong my eyes were literally watering. Even our waitress told him to stop it was so strong. We waited for what seemed like an extra long time for our food considering that by then we were the only ones there. The waitress came by and asked "what y'all want" and just stared at us. We had no idea what she meant as we had already ordered but then she hollered "with y'all food". She meant condiments but never said that. When our food arrived we were surprised to see that it was cold or room temperature. My waffle was cold and crunchy and my scrambled eggs with cheese just had a slice of cheese on top of it, not mixed in. My daughter's hamburger was missing half the stuff and when the waitress took it to fix it we could see her just putting the stuff on but it still took almost 10 minutes. Our third person had a steak that was cold and rubbery and while we weren't expecting a steak house steak, it was very hard for them to eat it. This whole time it still smells like bleach and now cigarette smoke from the workers. The restrooms were trashed and the stall door was so loose it hit my daughter as she was exiting. We paid $64 for this experience and practically ran out the door. Haven't been to a Huddle House in years and won't be back any time soon. Very...
