Only reason to give this one star is because the service was excellent...Ashleigh was the best thing about this place...the food...not so much... I ordered the combo platter of 6 oz sirloin and half rack of ribs with macaroni and cheese and my wife ordered the sirloin beef tips with sauteed mushrooms we actually ordered the fried mushrooms as an appetizer they cut them so thin that when they came out they were very very dry...my meal came with a caesar salad the Caesar salad dressing tasted like it came out of a bottle the macaroni and cheese tasted like elbow macaroni with some cheese sauce poured on it... my sirloin steak was supposed to be medium rare ...it was so tough it had gristle in it. I sent it back to try to heat it up a little bit thinking it would be tender it was just as tough ...had trouble cutting it with a knife ...the waitress made a joke that they needed to get sharper knives.. we thought they should get better steaks ...my ribs were dry on the bone... the barbecue sauce that came with it looked like a dark purple mud and was really bitter like I said the waitress was the best thing about that meal. She did comp the steak when I told her that I couldn't eat it ...even my wife had trouble chewing her sirloin tips because they were so tough. She had ordered her sirloin tips medium and they sent them out well done. Read moreI’ve eaten here since I was a child, it has always had good steak at a reasonable price. Last night I ordered a filet medium. It came out ultra rare purple which I’m fine with, but I took a bite it tasted terrible so I asked them to cook it some more, when it came back it was a good medium rare. So I took another bite, that’s when I realized it wasn’t that the steak was under cooked it was rancid it had undoubtedly sat out either in the heat or at room temperature for a very long period of time. I did not bring it up to the waitress because it is not her fault. Quality has dropped in recent years. But this was terrible, and I there is no excuse for serving a steak like that. Read moreWe were told by the hotel staff were we stayed at that this steakhouse was better than Texas Roadhouse. That wasn't true or even close. I got a 16oz Porterhouse for $26.99 ordered medium. The filet side was great but the strip was really bad. The baked potato wasn't cooked right as it was kinda sandy. It's that weird texture potatoes get when they aren't cooked for the right amount of time. The best thing ordered and would recommend was the fried mushrooms. They were some of the best I've ever had. The mushrooms gave them an extra star otherwise I would have given a 2 star rating.
