Restaurant Review: A Haven of Culinary Delights and Inspiring Tales

I recently had the pleasure of visiting a restaurant that surpassed all my expectations, both in terms of its delectable cuisine and the remarkable kindness of its owner. This hidden gem, tucked away off of route 9 in natick has captured my heart and earned my loyalty for life.

Let's start with the food—the true star of this establishment. From the very first bite, I knew I was in for a memorable dining experience. My wife and I both ordered the incredible chicken shawarma with a side of some amazingly delicious and well seasoned fries.

Yet, what truly sets this restaurant apart is the extraordinary kindness and genuine warmth exuded by its owner. Over the course of our lunch, I had the pleasure of engaging in a conversation that went beyond the usual small talk. The owner, Mo, shared his remarkable journey and the hurdles he faced to bring his dream to life. His story was one of resilience, determination, and unwavering passion for his craft. Despite the challenges he encountered along the way, he never lost sight of his vision—to create a space where people could come together, savor exceptional food, and forge lasting memories.

As Mo spoke, his eyes sparkled with a contagious enthusiasm that enveloped the entire restaurant. He emphasized the importance of cherishing the simple joys in life and the power of opportunity to create a better life. His words resonated deeply within me, reminding me of the beauty and magic that can be found in the simplest of gestures.

Not only did the food delight my palate, but the owner's kindness and passion touched my soul. It is rare to encounter someone so genuinely invested in their craft and their customers' happiness. Mo’s dedication to creating a memorable experience extended far beyond the plate, leaving an ever lasting impression on me.

In conclusion, this restaurant is a culinary sanctuary where delectable dishes come together with a heartwarming tale of determination and kindness. The food alone is reason enough to visit, but the opportunity to engage with the passionate owner and hear his inspirational journey is a truly enriching experience. I am honored to call myself a customer for life and encourage everyone to visit this remarkable establishment. Prepare to have your taste buds dazzled and your spirits lifted—this restaurant...

Yafa is in a little, tidy strip mall right off the westbound side of Route 9. It is easy to miss, but it is worth discovering for super fresh Mediterranean food. I love a good salad and had a delicious, fresh Greek salad. It is served in a clear plastic clamshell bowl, which is most places means it was prepared in advance, but at Yafa the salad had clearly been freshly chopped. It was dressed with a delicious, light lemony vinaigrette. Altogether top notch. We also had beef swarma served over rice, also delicious, well spiced and served with hummus and pita bread. Again the food is presented to takeout containers, though we ate indoors. This is entirely due to the fact that takeout is obviously a big part of their business.

The seating is comfortable, and the shop is very clean and cheerful. They have a good display of olives, olive oil, pepper sauce, sumac, etc imported from Palestine.

There is...

I went to this place based on the reviews and I was highly disappointed. I order a vegan avocado wrap and a pistachio muffin. The main reason I order this was because it had avocado in it. When they gave me the wrap it was so skinny and long. I looked at it and it barely had any veggies in it. I took a bite and the wrap was hard, not even soft. They only spread a thin layer of avocado on it. There was barely any avocado on it. When you say avocado sandwich I should be able to pick up a piece of avocado on the sandwich. They just put a very thin lawer on avocado on the wrap I was so disappointed. The wrap was so dry and it did not taste good at all. I asked if the muffins were freshly made they said yes but it was not. The muffin was dry and not moist. Even the french fries had no taste and it was hard.

The young lady who took my order was nice and the...

We stopped by on a random weeknight while out shopping. The inside was empty, it looks like a lot of their dinner business comes from take home. We ordered the falafel wrap and shawarma plate. The man behind the counter was very nice and the food came pretty quickly. The shawarma plate is a simple dish over some rice with a few slices of roasted tomatoes and sprinkles with fresh parsley. The chicken was well spiced and all the ingredients tasted very fresh. I would get it again. The falafel wrap came stuffed with fresh ingredients and fluffy falafel balls. If I have one recommendation it's to ask for some sauce or hummus in the wrap as it's pretty dry without it. The food was delicious and the people were nice. I'd definitely come back.

Cafe Yafa was absolutely delicious, you cannot miss it. It’s super accessible, right off major highways. Salaam at the front was so kind and helped explain any questions we had about the menu. The kofta sandwich and beef&lamb shawarma sandwich were so tasty— perfectly seasons and spiced, with hints of sumac. The tabbouleh was so finely chopped and perfectly acidic. On our way out we got za’atar manakish and while we waited Salaam gave us iced coffees. The manakish was warm from the oven and packed with za’star and sumac. You must try it. They also have a great selection of Palestinian products if you’re looking by for some of the best olive oil and tahini! It was a serendipitous lunch.
