One of the best Thai places in MA! I love Thai food, but recently we moved away from Brookline, and we have been missing our favorite place, Khao Sarn. None of the Thai food in Needham is any good, and the places we tried in Newton weren't great either. However, tonight we tried Krua Thai after doing some shopping at the Natick Mall and it was fantastic! The chicken dumpings were topped with just a little bit of scallions and sesame seeds and were delicious. The Pad Kee Mao, my favorite Thai dish, was the best I've had in years. The string beans and onions were perfectly cooked, just enough to still add a nice crunch, and the sauce was also the right amount of savory, sweet and spicy. We asked for the Pad Kee Mao to be mild, something we've tried to do at other places and it was either still crazy spicy or flavorless. This was perfect, just a little bite and bursting with flavor. The last thing we always get to compare Thai places was the Pad Thai, which was also so delicious, the noodles were moist and it was exactly what you expect from a Pad Thai. The prices were very reasonable, cheaper than Khao Sarn in Brookline. We will be making this a regular stop from now on, now that we have discovered it...
Read moreWeâve been regulars at Krua Thai in Natick for over 12 yearsâever since we moved to the Metrowest areaâand it has remained our go-to Thai spot all these years. Whether weâre celebrating something special or just feeling low or under the weather, a takeout from Krua Thai always hits the spot.
The flavors are bold, authentic, and consistently delicious, with the spice level always thoughtfully adjusted to our preferences. Their Basil Fried Rice and Pad Kee Mao are absolute favorites, but honestly, every dish weâve tried has been excellent.
The dining area is small, cozy, and welcoming, and we love the open kitchenâyou can see the cleanliness and care that goes into every dish. The staff is always warm, friendly, and genuinely kind.
We truly wish Krua Thai continued successâthey deserve it. A hidden gem that never...
Read moreThe cliche "don't judge a book by its cover" certainly applies here. The humble exterior of this family-run Thai restaurant sandwiched between Theo's Pizza and a laundromat (and nearby a cemetery) on Main Street in Natick belies some of the best Thai food out there at any price range. The Tom Khar soup (made with sweet coconut milk and red onion), Mango Curry (with chunks of tangy mango and sweet potato), and Pad Kee Mao (umami stir-fried wide rice noodles, eggplant and basil) are all fresh, well-seasoned and cooked to perfection. The Thai Iced Tea (made with condensed milk) is a must-have. Krua Thai has a loyal take-out clientele always coming and going, but the restaurant itself is quite comfortable and clean with an excellent wait staff. Whether you eat-in or take out you can't go wrong!
