Was kind of disappointed with this store. Was hoping to see more of a selection of office furniture, specifically ergonomic chairs and what they have advertised on the website. Also I had difficulty finding the item I went to the store for which was advertised in the flyer: back to school notebooks and 2 pocket folders for 25 cents. I assumed they would be close to the front of the store, or in the actual area for sale items (displays in the aisle). I then checked the notebook section, then the clearance. After looping around the store 3.5 times I finally found them in the back left corner. I went to check out and of the 16 notebooks I bought 3 were wide rules vs college ruled, I didnât notice but the cashier said he would separate them which threw me off and I said that they should all be the same price, 25 cents. He then checked the price and they rang up $1.79 each. I explained that they were on sale and I grabbed them from the large back to school sale area in the back and he didnât seem to have any clue about the area or what was on sale that week, nor did he have a flyer. After A few minutes I went to grab a flyer and all of a sudden the sale price rang through. I feel like Staples has gone to the wayside and the employees are not at all versed in the items they sell, layout of the store, whatâs on sale etc. Iâve gone to Staples a few times in the past to look at printers and I gained more info about the printers in a google search than from the employees that work there. Itâs not their fault but more so the chain of command and training.    Read moreThis comment is geared towards the woman who had difficulty finding the folders and notebooks. My name is Charlie ( the one listed in the review below ) and I agree. There are some employees who may have trouble with sales and item locations . however as a member of the team that takes great pride in what I do ( note : in what I do reflecting myself only ) I will happily say that the vast majority of my team , be it when hours permit it , are very well versed in item locations and products as a whole and would be pleased to help you find what you need any time your there . I apologize for the poor location of sale items at our location . I will admit its a weird corner to hide sale items behind a backpack wall. I would also like to address the furniture issue . Typically we do have a decent ( be it small ) selection of chairs in store however due to back to school season and the pandemic we are ALL facing, stock levels have dropped and maintained there low numbers as such .HOWEVER one of our more professional employees would've walked you directly to what you needed had the opportunity been presented to them , or at the very least, I myself push extra hard to get my customers what they need .Again I apologize for your bad experience but as long as I am still an employee here, rest assured anytime your at the store or call in, if you ask for me I will put forth the most effort possible to solve any issues you may have . Unfortunately I am not a manager or supervisor, so I'm sort of limited on exactly what I can do, but I'm an instigator and if I cant find a way to help I will push all the buttons I can to make sure your experience...
   Read moreI had my iPhone screen repaired here. I brought it to the store on a Saturday. They said it would take 45 minutes to fix. No phone call for nearly 3 hours. Finally they called to tell me they couldn't repair it due to a broken pin (fair enough) and that they had to send it out on Monday. They said the phone would be back b y Wednesday. I called Wednesday midday to enquire about the phone and they said it had not arrived yet. They said they would call when it arrived. No call on Wednesday. Thursday I called again to find out they just shipped the phone out on Wednesday. No phone call to explain this oversight, no phone call to say it would be delivered on Friday. No apology from staff. Very disappointed!
To follow up, the Tech Manager did apologize for the poor customer relations and gave me 50% off the repair fee. I appreciated how he handled...
