Island Pacific Supermarket and Seafood — Restaurant in National City

I've called to find out if they still have the buy one take one combo meal and how much. The lady gave me the Deli kitchen phone # told me to call that # instead bcuz they are busy at the front register. I've called the Deli nobody answered till it gave me the busy ring. I've called back the registers she told me she will go there and she will tell them to answer the phone told me to call that # again. I let ten minutes passed by I've called again still nobody answered until the ringing stopped and hang up on me. So it didn't answer my questions at all. Nobody helped me. It's 2024 simple basic customer service is impossible on this store. At first the lady at the register said she didn't know how much it is and she didn't know if the buy one take one is still available so I get that she knew nothing about the store great customer service. When she went there she could have asked it and relay to me. The staff needs to know something about the store at least. You need to train your staff. You failed to help a customer. I go there all the time buy my groceries but unfortunately I forgot the price of the combo that's why I made the call. I don't usually give a bad reviews but this one is...

I’m a regular customer this complaint must need attention to the management it’s important when it comes to quality of your food. First your steam rice 🍚 must be cooked fully it’s raw and hard to eat supposedly soft this happens a few times in aşk not to include rice for my combo. The tinola had some funny taste to it the chicken was almost expired it means not fresh at all , the vegetable egg rolls always burnt and vegetables aren’t crunchy as I expected not fresh either. The fried mackerel or galunggong it’s over fried it’s very chewy. I just ate some it’s really wasn’t pleasant or enjoyable to eat . The liempo supposed to be marinated and grilled why fried it ? Bbq wasn’t even empressive either . I suggest to try and taste it yourself or highly recommend to find other cook ?? Beef with broccoli no flavor meat was cut to big . I was very disappointed with the customer service of the store manager in this branch. She's young and wearing eye glasses. I was just asking for the discount for the rice written on the price board. I left with disappointment. When I came back to buy a few stuff, and while getting my stuff from the store shelf she stood at my side and unshamely yelled at me saying "Ano akala mo lolokohin ka namin!". To my surprise I looked to my side and remember the store manager's face. It was her. I couldn't believe that a store manager would manifest such a rude attitude to customers with no regard. The owner of this asian store must issue a written reprimand to this store manager young lady wearing glasses for rude attitude. I can't believe they are appointing store managers with that uncultured manners. FYI, my entire family and relatives have been a loyal customer of this store.
