Grove Plaza — Local services in National City

Most of the time I just go here for Starbucks when I’m in town. Just be aware Starbucks closes their lobby at night even though the app says they are open. I ordered ahead on the app and was planning to pick up in store but the lobby was closed but the drive thru was open. I didn’t want to drive my wide half-ton truck and risk damaging it or getting stuck so I cancelled my order. That too was another issue. I just took that “L” for the night. FYI the turn after ordering is a 90degree left turn w/ a concrete wall in front of you and the building on the left - don’t risk it even though the expert off-roading barista tells you your truck will fit. I have run over bushes and rode on top of curbs on some tight drive-thrus but a concrete wall!! I’m ok with trail damage but not ok with damage on...

Cool place has a lot of options and services parking is iffy and small cars are most of the time very close together there's a lot of good stuff around it ranging from restaurants from phone services convenience stores and cultural cuisine. There is a lot of businesses there ranging from family owned to company owned, either or have very good service everytime I go to this plaza I pay my t mobile bill and have some Filipino cuisine very good food. Very crowded and not a visitor/shopper friendly strip mall. Extremely tight parking, too many small businesses packed into a minimal piece of land. Entrances from nearby streets are convenient, but difficult to get out of the parking lot. If you plan to go there be patient and plan ahead.
