Thaicy Rolls Creamery — Restaurant in National City

Bought a Groupon to try this place but they are unreliable, their schedule can easily be changed by a piece of paper they will stick on the window. First time we tried to come we checked their schedule it was supposed to be open, but they put a written note saying closed until tomorrow. Second attempt to come, I called before heading over but phone call went straight to voicemail, went on their Facebook page and saw they had posted a picture that same day so I figured they are open and headed over only to arrive and see another written note saying closed open until 6:30pm. I don’t live so close so we had to wait 35 minutes. There was someone inside and the door was open but the lady said she will reopen until 6:30pm. Am a bit disappointed at their unreliable schedule, but hopefully ice cream is worth it, either way won’t be returning since I can’t confirm if they will change their schedule randomly, and I don’t want to be...

Read the reviews decided to try it out. I was disappointed. This two creamery were $18.76. I think they were over price for the taste and presentation. I order a terminus flavor and it did not match what the description of the menu. It was missing the chocolate chips and the hersey syrup and cocoa powdered. I also order a rocky road. It was a good. It had a better taste but again disappointed by the presentation and I didn't care for the hard marshmallows. The wait was approximate 15 minutes. There were only two customers ahead of us. The place did had three table to sit down and enjoy out desserts but the table we sat was not clean. For the experience of trying it gave it 2 and half stars. I believe things can change by improving the quality of presentation, and faster service and cleanliness on the storage containers were they store the toppingsb and the cleanliness...

We came in for the first time and the first words said to us behind the counter was "Its gonna be at least 20 minutes (With a very discouraging face)". We said that was okay because we came from a distance to try this establishment. When ordering, they were out of all the Christmas specials, chocolate base and also chocolate syrup. It made it really hard to pick something we actually liked since all of us are chocolate lovers. We settled for what we got and I thought it was good. My husband and the kids didnt like it; Especially because it isnt cheap and you want your money to be worth it, so paying for something you're just settling on, isnt ideal. They do have board games you can sit and play together while you have your ice cream. That provides a nice bonding...
