We have visited the 168th & Harrison location probably 40+ times over the passed year or so. This was our go to spot previously, especially on Taco Tuesday but this was before the management and staff change. I could tell immediately it was not the same staff and went against my better judgement to give them a 3rd try today. I drove off and left after the passed two times of the girl screaming and never understanding my order.
Today my wife convinced me to give them a chance and boy am I disappointed I did. Staff is terrible and the food is bland. We have a family of six, so eating out is a big deal and we absolutely loved this place with the previous staff.
I hate to say it but we will never be going back after today, I was overcharged and asked for a manager that could only say "New Manager. New Staff" as I was inquiring about by previous VIP customer card being honored as it was fully punched. They could have saved a customer for $8 customer service wise, not food wise.
Do yourself a favor and get some good street tacos and find somewhere else. The food is completely different, bland, and gross. The staff...
Read moreBeen here several times. Food WAS decent. Came to get an order spent 90.00!! Ordered the chimichanga meal. One bite was disgusting! Old grease! We also ordered chorizo and eggs. Chorizo was burnt. I returned my order. Chimichanga. The lady at register and the cook asked what I wanted after I returned my meal. I told them my money back. They seemed butt hurt about asking for my money back. I explained why I was returning the food. Comprehension was limited due to language barrier. No apology was made. In return I told them, " I will NEVER come back. I will drive 15 miles out of my way to avoid ever wasting a penny there.!" Terrible company to make me feel like I am the bad customer for calling them out on their old grease tasting burnt food. Not sure what happened to this company, but I will never return regardless...
Read moreI have been to the 168th and Harrison location a half dozen times in the last 6 months.
The management and staff were so so and the food was bland in unappealing. I was excited to see it was under new management. Boy was that a disappointment. The lady at the front counter couldn’t speak or unstained English. Took several attempt to get my order placed.
I tried something different, the rolled tacos. They looked and tasted like they were made last week and left on the flat top to stay warm. I couldn’t hardly bite into them let alone chew the beef. They were dry and flavorless.
I’m all for authentic food when I can get it, but this stuff was terrible. I could have bought Hormel Tameles from the store and they would have been better.
This is definitely my last trip to D’Leons. I drive another couple miles and...
