My experience at Jimmy John's was nothing short of a disappointing disaster. Let me share the saga that unfolded during my visit.
Upon arriving at Jimmy John's around 6pm, I anticipated a quick and satisfying meal. Little did I know that I was in for a colossal letdown. As I patiently waited in the drive-thru line, my stomach grumbling with hunger, I finally reached the speaker to place my order. To my disbelief, I was informed that Jimmy John's had managed to run out of bread. Yes, you read that correctly. A sandwich shop without any bread! I was dumbfounded and speechless. How does a place that specializes in sandwiches not have the most basic and essential ingredient? It's mind-boggling incompetence.
But the madness didn't end there. Instead of informing me about their bread shortage prior to taking my order, they made me wait. Can you believe it? Imagine sitting there, money in hand, eagerly waiting to place your order, only to be informed after you've paid that they are completely out of bread. It's like they make it their goal to waste your time and money. I could have easily gone elsewhere had they been transparent about their bread situation.
To add insult to injury, they had the audacity to inform me that to receive a refund, I would have to wait for several days. Days! I find it utterly unacceptable that a refund for their own mistake would require such a lengthy process. I am left wondering if they even care about their customers or their reputation. It seems as though they prioritize their own convenience over providing satisfactory service.
In conclusion, my visit to Jimmy John's was a complete nightmare. A lack of planning, poor communication, and a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction all contributed to an experience that left me hungry, frustrated, and seeking a refund that I am unsure I will even receive in a timely manner. I strongly advise against wasting your time and money on an establishment that is so woefully unprepared and disorganized. Spare yourself the headache and seek out a sandwich shop that values their customers and has enough bread to serve them. Jimmy John's has certainly lost my...
Read moreSo I've never written a review when they've messed up my order because they've always made it right and gave me in-store credit for their mistakes. Well I'm supposed to have at least $20 in my account. I went in July and had $28, got a mini sandwich for my son with the credit and used my free birthday sandwich reward to pay for mine. Well they messed up my birthday sandwich (as they always do - they put extra mayo in my BLT when I ask for NONE - never add extra tomatoes like I ask for - but always put extra mayo) (Mayo and Tomato are 2 different things right?!?!) and so the manager said he was going to add credit back to my account for the messed up order. So that was probably $23 that I had left in credit after the mini + $8 for my messed up Birthday sandwich. Well today I went to use some of my credit and there was only $8 on there... so when I called about my messed up order last time, they proceeded to delete my $23 credit (or whatever it was, something close to $23) and REPLACED it with $8, so I only had $8 credit... If I would have known you guys were going to erase my past credit from YOUR past mistakes, then I would have driven back to the store and got my correct order last time. Absolutely disgusting way to treat your guests who's food you messed up. They "looked in the system" today for me and only saw 2 credits and one was way back from 2020, which proves they are lying because I had about 4 to make up about $28... so tell me where my credits went? They cannot fine people who can read correctly off of a ticket.. and I get punished for it. Will never be returning to this...
Read moreI teach at a local school. We have, MAYBE 20 minutes to eat. In the past 5 years, we have had ZERO issues with this location. In the past 2 months, they have made a mistake with every order. First, the internet order was not built correctly. They offered half off our next sandwich - which stinks because the mistake in the sandwich made the first one inedible, so I am technically paying 1.5 times the price for ONE sandwich. Second, we ordered online for an 11:15 delivery and it didn't come until 11:32, so we had no time to eat. When I called, they said that we needed to allow a 15 minute window. Okay, fair enough. So, the next time we ordered (at 10am), for an 11am delivery, it arrived at 11:22 (so late, even including the 15 minute window) AND they made one of the sandwiches incorrectly - once again, making it inedible and paying for something the teacher couldn't eat. They said they would give us a refund when we brought the sandwiches back. They offered no solution and no apologies. Honestly, we have been ordering for YEARS and in the past 2 months SOMETHING has changed. If you pay for something, you should get it. That is not what is...
