Beer & pizza, 3 people. Served on cardboard, appetizer in paper box. 3 people at the table for diner, had to produce a credit card before we could order.

Menus have no pricing on them.

Asked about beer, looked at menu, said I’ll try this one. When the waiter came back, the beer was in a thimble – just a taste. Usually when I say I’ll try a new beer, that’s what I mean – bring it to me and I’ll try it. Didn’t work, had to wait in line again for a glass of beer.

Ordered a pizza, then ordered chicken bites appetizer. Pizza never came because waiter did not put in the order for pizza. Chicken came in a paper dish but no utensils to eat with. Had to wait again for the waiter (now I know why they have that name).

Pizza came in a take-out cardboard box. No plates; we had to ask for them when the waiter came back. He said to tear up the box and use the cardboard as a plate. No utensils to cut the pizza.

Ordered a desert. It never came, but the bill for dinner did…with the desert on it! More waiting. It came, 2 small scoops of ice cream on a cookie. $9.

For $100, we can do a 4-course meal for two with wines at Carrabba’s, served on real plates with real silverware by wait staff that knows what they’re doing.

For beer and pizza in a picnic setting. with no utensils, torn up cardboard box for plates, and a couple of hours including wait time, the tab at Buckstin was over $100. Champagne pricing.

Today march 23rd 2025 I took my wife and son to the Nederland location I really liked the beer and as far as that service went all was well we ordered an appetizer which came out in a reasonable time but at the same time we had ordered a plain cheese pizza after over an hour and a half our pizza had not arrived and our 1.5 year old son was getting restless I don’t know what happened but there was almost nobody there maybe ten customers the food nowhere to be seen I really want to like this place but now it’ll be impossible to come again as a family now they did give me the pizza complimentary because of this but it’s ridiculous the place was empty and I’m just really dissatisfied with e we’re told Buckstin was family friendly but I feel like I brought my wife and child here to watch me drink beer and starve I’d appreciate an answer/response to this review!

absolutely amazing service. the food, the staff, and the owners are wonderful. every time i walk through the door i’m greeted with smiling faces and it’s very clear the employees love what they’re doing. given the world with covid, this business is very understanding and does everything in their power to keep all customers happy and do a wonderful job of doing so. and not to mention how extraordinary the beer is! so many different flavors, and the food is so fantastic. the sweet heat is insanely good. i’ve never been to a restaurant that is so comfortable, welcoming and all around just a beautiful environment. and it’s all thanks to the staff and the amazing owner. the service is absolutely astonishing. Morgan Hicks is by far the friendliest, most attentive manager and is effortless at giving amazing customer service. the owner, Gabi, is also such a bright and beautiful character and represents the company wonderfully.
