I met the owner of Seaport Inlet Marina (Rob) almost a year ago at the Blue claw outdoor boat show last September. At that point in time I was in the market for a new boat and had my eye on a few other manufacturers other than Cape Horn. When I first shook Rob’s hand, I immediately knew he was different than any previous boat/marine owner I have dealt with before (I have dealt with a lot). Rob is unique in a way that he is not the typical “sales” or franchise owner. This might be cliché, but he does genuinely care for each of his customers in a special way. It’s a family atmosphere at Seaport that’s very easy to see. If you don’t believe me, see it for yourself, it’s refreshing. Fast forward to today 6/12/20. After multiple boat shows throughout the past year including, NYC, Annapolis, and Miami, Rob and I made the deal at the AC boat on a beautiful 32 Cape Horn. I am beyond ecstatic with the craftsmanship of the boat. More importantly, I chose Seaport and Rob because it felt organic from the initial day back in September in 2019. Rob was never pushy, he was always there for me when I needed him, oh I can’t forget the sea trial that he dropped everything for on a cold November day. And what’s even better, I consider Rob a true friend AFTER the transaction was complete. Very hard to come by in this industry when other said dealers up and down NJ will shake your hand and be done with you the second you give them a check. Rob stands by his family, product, his business, his marina, his employees. Thank you and I will...
Read moreI’d need a whole book to really do justice to how great the folks at Seaport Inlet Marina are. We bought a new Cape Horn 36XS from them, and from start to finish, it was an experience I won’t forget. Rob took us out for a sea trial, then sat down with us to go over the numbers. He’s a great guy—honest, down-to-earth, a real family man—and he treated us like we mattered. He made sure we were comfortable with every detail of the boat and the pricing before they started the build. He even set up a tour of the Cape Horn factory for us and called every week with updates on how things were coming along. That kind of personal attention means a lot.
Everyone at Seaport is just as genuine. When we worked with Brian and Sean, the installers, they listened carefully to everything we wanted—where we wanted things placed, how we wanted it done—and they took their time to get it right. The service team is outstanding too; it’s rare to find a marina with mechanics you can trust and an owner who truly cares. Rob and his crew have earned my loyalty for good.
The marina itself is spotless—docks are solid, everything’s well-kept. Even the detailers put in serious effort, making sure the boat was perfect before it hit the water. I just want to thank Rob and everyone at Seaport Inlet Marina for making this dream of owning the 36XS come true. You all made it...
Read moreI live in Brielle and after two years of trying to keep my work local (yet ending up unsatisfied) with marinas inside Manesquan inlet, Rob & his crew were recommended to me from a friend. I had just recently sold center console for one more offshore worthy - and it needed an electronics makeover. I brought my boat to Rob in July and he treated me like a customer he'd known for 20 years. Very fast service, quick response times, and the best pricing I have seen. We got to know each other throughout the summer and each interaction left me more impressed with his operation, staff, and knowledge of boats.
We took out the entire Furuno mfd/ radar and replaced with Simrad NSS evo 16", AP44 & radar - as well as removed the livewell leanpost to install a new tacklestation leanpost. Seaport also performed regular engine maintenance and service.
Seaport Inlet Marina is my go-to for service in New Jersey from now on and I look forward to doing more work with them this Spring. See pics below for before and after work on the boat and some of...
