No meat in pork barbacoa. Complained and worker said, "There is meat" while scraping bottom of container to pull up a few shreds. I asked for a different meat (grilled chicken) and not only given the wrong chicken, but also charged for double meat. Also ordered a salad and the guy gave me green salsa (not salad dressing) - charged $1 for extra salsa (WTH)! Further down the prep line, another worker decides to start scrubbing the line while food in being prepared. She spilled the tub of cleaner, splashing the liquid all over my food and the food in the well. I complained to the worker about the liquid in the food, and he said, "It's okay. It's just water!" He called the cleaner lady over to run the cashier and wrap up the food. No washing hands (which my daughter told me after we left). I told her the liquid she spilled went onto the food. She just looked at me. So I asked for the manager. She yelled at me and said, "The manager is in the bathroom!" She grabbed the covers for the food and covered the food and told me to pay. At that point, I demanded to remove my portion of the order from the bag since I know it had cleaner in it. The salad was further back on the line, and I did not think it got splashed. After paying and leaving, my daughter told me the cashier was also the cleaner and she touched the inside of the lids without washing her hands! I threw the food into the trash! WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME! Do not go to the Blue Diamond location(store 038)! You will get sick! Host's name is Namibia (per...
Read moreI wish I could give zero stars. We walked in at 4:10 p.m. on Thursday 9/09. There was only one lady with her two small kids ahead of us and only one employee both taking and preparing her order. At the same time, there were 5 other employees aimlessly wandering around behind him not helping him one bit, including the person we later learned is the manager. We would have thought they might actually do some work and pitch in. By the time we actually placed and received our order was 4:36....26 minutes. We've been to many other Cafe Rio's and never did it take longer than maybe 10 minutes even with quite a decent line. When I finally got to the register, I asked if there was a manager around. The girl said yes and pointed to her. I asked the cashier to ask her to come over to our table so we could speak to her. She never came over. Before I left the cashier, I leaned over the counter and handed the guy doing all of the work $5 and told him it was for only him. I purposely said it loud enough to make sure the others heard and saw me. We were so happy we were only 2nd in line otherwise we would probably still be there waiting in line. The employees are a direct reflection of the management and they way they were trained. $34 for the slowest service I have ever experienced. Never...
Read moreOn Saturdays, I look forward to ordering the Baja Shrimp meal...and last night, I placed an order for the shrimp tacos through my app. I was happy to go pick up my order because I THOUGHT I would be eating nice, juicy, seasoned shrimp for dinner. I went all the way home, sat down, and opened my box only to find about 4 pieces of TINY, DRIED OUT, HARD pieces of shrimp on each taco! I was completely appalled that an employee would even serve such food! I immediately called the restaurant and no one answered! I got in my car to return the meal and called again, NO answer!
When I arrived at the store, there were only 2 people ordering food, and the restaurant was basically empty, so I was confused why no one answered the phone. After waiting for a while, I spoke with an employee and told him about the food and gave it back to him. He informed me that they don't have any more shrimp for the night. At that point, I just wanted my money back. He called for his manager, who then gave me my money back and a dry apology after she asked the employee to get me some fresh shrimp, and he informed her that they were out of shrimp.
I will not return to this location. If you don't order through the app, they take forever to service people, and they never...
