Francisco's Mexican — Restaurant in Nevada

My family and good friend went there for a special birthday dinner. I have been here before and always highly recommend it, but hadn't been in over a year. Come to find out they totally changed their atmosphere inside. It was the reason why I recommended it because it had that fun authentic Mexican restaurant feel. But that changed apparently. Now it's made to be a modern boring, colorless, lacking character place! I was actually blown away that they changed a great thing that they had. That was one thing.

The next thing I noticed is definitely change in food. The quality went from so excellent in 2022, to lack luster now. There's no flavor in the meats, totally bland. It really feels like they are cutting costs on quality. Rice was dry and bland as well.

I really had great remarks about this place along time ago, but I guess times have changed, even the fun cool atmosphere inside. I wish they hadn't changed. I won't be going back. And I I highly don't recommend this place anymore. Sad because I used to. Hopefully they can make a change.

But to add, the service was awesome!!! Those girls rock! The only great thing...

I will NEVER step foot in that place again. As you can see, I don't review too often... your business has to really impress or "other" to get my review, this spot is "other"! We were seated before the dinner rush began. Got our order in as the place filled up. There we sat... people were, subsequently, seated around us and they began being served their dinner! We sat for a while longer before flagging down what I assumed was a general manager. I told him we had been waiting and people around us had been seated and served! He offered NO apology but instead accused us of trying to get a free meal! We stood up and walked out as our meal was served! That manager (using that term loosely) should be fired immediately! I take a person's livelihood very seriously but this person shouldn't ever deal with the public! "What do you want me to do about it!" he stated. I'm not sure what the protocol of the establishment is but I'm sure it's not...

The place is in a good location and easy to find. Finding a parking spot was challenging in the lot so I parked up the road and walked a short distance. The person in front of us was told there would be a ten minute wait for a table so we opted for the empty bar. We were not really greeted and as someone else mentioned absolutely felt the "oh another one" when we walked in. Since we weren't given any wait time, a menu or a glass of water we decided to leave Francisco's and ended up in Subway.
