I was trying to have a friend mail something to my address here in Colorado, and she had to call me to verify my address and verify the PO box because the male attendant at the time was being rude and telling her that the PO box was throwing off the address and therefore it was not a valid address. I could hear him over the phone when she called me asking about what to do and I requested to speak to him to clarify anything with him instead of trying to do it secondhand person. He absolutely refused to speak to me over her phone so that I could clarify my address with him all I could hear was him yelling saying it doesn't match and it doesn't work and he basically ushered her away. I asked my friend to grab the name tag of this employee and get me his name so that I could file a complaint. But he was not wearing one so she could not get me his name, he also was apparently the only employee at the time in the store when there were a lot of customers needing assistance. That being said I understand him being busy, but refusing to speak to me to clarify a simple address misunderstanding was silly and he did not need to be rude and yell like he was. after I sent her a picture of the business card where my address is then suddenly the address was working just fine and he was able to get the package shipped. I think that the male employee that was working on Wednesday the 2nd of December 2020 around 1:00 p.m. at the Minden US Post Office should be reprimanded for his behavior and the manner in which he spoke to the customers. most specifically my friend who was trying to send a package to and me over the phone who he absolutely refused to speak to for any kind of address clarification. I could hear his disgruntled tone and very loud objection to wanting to speak to me and his behavior towards my friend and other customers as the call proceeded with her. I understand things are tough right now but that does not give people the right to be downright mean and uncouthful. Again, I could HEAR all of this through my friends phone, just to give you an idea how out of line this man was...
Read moreUS post office The postal worker that waited on me by the name of Valentina definitely deserves five stars I am handicapped and on oxygen, and when I reached the window, my concentrator started beeping in going on empty. I was at the post office to pick up a large, or package. I told the postal worker the package was going to be quite large and she said she would meet me at my car. This inot only gave me time to add a new battery to my concentrator, but I also to opened up the car. She tried to place the package in the trunk and it was too large so then she placed it between the passenger seat and the backseat. Not only did she load my package, but she also loaded my walker in the truck. How much more could a handicap person asked for but this postal worker was definitely helping me over and above and I truly appreciate it. đ Sincerely,...
Read moreI called the standard 1 800 post office phone number trying to identify which post office could do my passport. Going through the selections the automated person informed me Minden post office was my nearest available and that they take walk ins from 11-4. Collected my papers, checks, pictures and drove over an hour to get there. I get there around 1 and there is a large sign out front that says "passports here". However, the clerk (tall w/ dark hair) at the counter sent me away saying they don't take walk ins and that the lady that does passports is out. I informed him that I called the automated clerk and was informed otherwise. He still refused to help me even though they had...
