Wow! The sign on the door suggests quick service order thru the app. Installed the app. Entered my order. Can't use a gift card on the app. No customers inside should be pretty quick anyway. Arrived to order. Three order takers all busy. Be with you in a few minutes. Wait. Wait. Ok ready for your order. Two item entre mix noodles and fried rice, orange chicken and string bean chx breast. Oh, no bean/chx, tells chef to make some. Spouse orders noodles and two orange chx. Noodles get in container, oops, make new noodles, dump out the order. Pay for the order. Notice the listing on the register doesn't match what we ordered. Worked it through from beginning. Ok, got the order right at the register. Pay with gift card. Ok, waiting on food. Waiting. Waiting. Waiting. The guy who somehow got in front of us (no one was waiting to order when we arrived). He is now sitting at a table next to us waiting for his order. He says he is waiting in the third attempt to get his order priced correctly. His first attempt was over $40 for a $24 order. Third time's a charm but he's still waiting for his food. We are waiting too. His food is ready, he leaves. Waiting. Waiting. He comes back. Don't know why but apparently he gets resolved. Decide it's time to talk to the manager. Ask for the manager. Ok, waiting. Manager arrives. Why so disorganized? Apparently they had a problem at the drive through with a wrong order. It's been half an hour still haven't got our food. Ok, or order is ready. Collect it and leave. Half an hour plus the time to install the app, which we couldn't use anyway. Should have been angry but it was such a mess you had to feel sorry for everyone. Better luck next time? Will there...
Read moreThis is the location that ended my 10 year addiction to Panda Express.
The service is fine, the location is good.. but I cant say the same about the food. Ive been a Google local guide for many years so I try to give businesses the benefit of the doubt, this location managed to hit my 3 Strikes you're out limit.
Why? very simple: 3 out of the last 3 times I went there the food wasn't fresh. Yes I know we are in Nevada .. yes food gets shipped in, I dont expect it to be Cali Crunchy BUT each of these 3 times I could actually taste Mold in the food .. nothing visible but an overwhelmingly funky horrid "this food has been in the fridge far longer than it should be" type taste. (and I'm no food snob.. I will eat packaged food long after expiry to see if it's any good ... how else would know that taste?)
Those 3 visits were spread out over a period of many months by the way , just to be sure it wasn't one bad batch - Like I said: i tried everything I could to be fair to this location. .. plus I didnt want to give up Panda as it's been a favorite I eat week (or multiple times a week when Im living in Hawaii)
Its a terrible shame. Please Pahrump Panda.. give us fresh food and...
Read moreThey eere out of a lot of main dishes and what was there looked kind of old, and it was only 730 (9pm close time). They did offer to make what I wanted fresh, but with a wait, and I know from experience a "wait" at Panda is never the 5 minutes they quote you. I did get a plate, sat in the dinning room to eat, within earshot of people ordering. Everyone that came in after me, (about 8 people) wanted items that weren't available, as well as some drive thru guests, all told the same about a wait. I am not sure how this tactic benefits the employees in finishing early, which was their obvious objective as the drink station was broken down all ready and they were closing down the larger half of the dinning room as I was leaving. The employees were also extremely loud talking and laughing about person things between customers. I guess your level of customer experience can be lower when there aren't many other options for customers. With out a doubt, my worst Panda Express...
