Read moreI've been coming to this park for 25 years 15 with my same dog there's always homeless people laying on the ground in front of the bathroom sleeping in the bathroom also the same damn spiders are behind the toilet in the bathroom by the softball field drug deals it's terrible also the groundskeepers water the grass during freezing hours so when you get here in the morning the grass is wet and frozen come on are you supposed to water the grass when it's going to freeze on top of it. It's like they water the grass so nobody goes to the park in the morning that way they can work I'm a landscaper for 32 years it's obvious they don't want you coming here or maybe it's their way of getting the homeless from sleeping here I don't know but it sucks for a member of the community when you want to go to the park at 9 in the morning in the grass is soaking wet and it's not just once in awhile it's been 20 years of this get it...
Read morePetrack Park is inhabited by local homeless, most of which are drinking alcohol. The BOCC recently decided to raise the speed limit in front of the park from 25 to 35, there's no crosswalks to the park and the area is so congested that wrecks are extremely common. I won't even take my dogs there because I've had prior incidents with the roaming homeless people who try to pet or approach my dogs. The play ground is wonderful, the baseball field is great, as are the other amenities. But finding a syringe of any kind is a deal breaker. Oh and for anyone who might not be aware, The Horses that wander into this park ARE WILD, DONT TRY TO APPROACH OR PET THEM. They can kick , stomp and bite at anything approaching. And the horses lose every time. Please help keep our horses and our families safe. KEEP YOUR CHILDREN AND DOGS AWAY AND PLEASE DONT FEED...
