Senza Gluten Free Bakery — Restaurant in Nevada

As a seasoned Celiac and dairy free individual I am not new to bakeries that specialize in gluten free baking. I do my research while travelling and pick each and every place I eat out at or get treats at based on their website and reviews. I went to the store and ordered a 65$ order of treats and asked it to be kept in store as most items were purchased out of the fridge and I was going to do errands and return and it’s 106 f in Vegas. The staff packed up my orders and left it out on the shelf at room temperature . When I returned i noted my order to be on the shelf and asked if that was ok and the one staff member was extremely rude and said it was fine and nothing required refrigeration. In axtuality the cheesecake I purchased did and she angrily removed it from my package annd chucked it in the garbage and then replaced it without saying a word. Prior to replacing it another staff member agreed it wasn’t safe for that to be out at store room temperature for 4 hrs. I then said thank you and have a great day with no response. Rudest experience I’ve ever had and further more the majority of the treats were stale, and unappetizing as they sit in the fridge to preserve them is my suspicion but the pistachio macaroon square was to die for otherwise generally I am unimpressed by the service and quality and would not return. Seeing that this baking is FAR more expensive you think you’d understand that it’s important to have good customer service. I do not suggest trying them out and suggest you check out I love saint honore doughnuts as their customer service was second to none despite being packed wall to wall. Hands down 5 stars. I went to this bakery during my trip to Vegas in late November/early December. I look for GF bakeries anytime I travel and I was excited to see a new one on the list since my last visit to Vegas. Senza Gluten Free did not let me down at all. First of all, the owner is a sweetheart. She went out of her way to accommodate my other allergies and create a special set of s'mores for me. I ordered s'mores and cinnamon rolls, both of which have long been difficult to find anywhere I go due to being gluten and dairy free. I'm not just saying this because being gluten free makes me desperate because it truly doesn't, but we absolutely LOVED her s'mores and cinnamon rolls. My brother, who is not gluten free, was obsessed with the s'mores. My little kids loved them so much that we were done with the whole stack before we even left Vegas. lol Her ingredients were clean and great tasting. I didn't have a sugar rush despite the fact that it was a sweet snack by default. I've had massive sugar rushes in other bakeries, but not in this one. I didn't even gain weight which I was completely floored by but I realize that it's because inflammation was not triggered since she used clean ingredients and kept it simple. I am already looking forward to traveling back to her and if I could order a shipment I would. I'm a big fan and I hope everyone gives this bakery a shot. I want to see this one last! It is our second time visiting this bakery, and for good reason. This is a small shop with big dreams ahead. The owners and workers are super friendly and you can see the fresh baking behind the counter. The treats are simple and not too expensive, at around 3-8 dollars each.

Can I tell it was gluten free? A bit, just because the texture was a bit drier than normal and the treats aren't as buttery or rich as regular ones are, but you wouldn't be disappointed by what you get, especially if you're celiac or gluten intolerant. I have tried 6 items so far, and the menu of treats changes each week by a few replaced by another item. So far, I have tried the banana bread scone, strawberry basil scone, omlet muffin, chocolate donut, creme brulee cookie, and my favorite, the cinnamon roll.

If you come here for one thing, please get a cinnamon roll, it's gonna be life changing, especially the gooey middle. Will be back again to try the whole menu with my gluten sensitive mom, who whole heartedly is in...
