I booked an appointment for my mom for her birthday. After I booked it she said she didn't want a massage. This spa sends a confirmation text the day before your appointment where you can either cancel or confirm. I cancelled her appointment through text. I even received a text stating my appointment was cancelled. I received a call the day of the appointment from Linda, the manager, stating that I would be charge for missing the appointment because I was suppose to call. I told her that I will NOT be charge because I cancelled and received confirmation of my cancel the day before and hang up. 5 minutes later, Alexander calls me and asks me to explain everything. I told what happened and even apologized for hanging up because I was just having a bad day. He end up patronizing me by saying, "Darling, our system doesn't work like that. You still need to pay for your appointment." I told him I would be there in 5 minutes so he can read the text, I received from his company. Once I got there, I immediately showed him the text and he said he has to show his manager Linda. When he came back to the front after speaking to her, the first thing he said to me was Woosa. Like what the hell! I already told you I'm having a bad day and then I had to come to your business because NO ONE knows how their system works. He didn't apologize and the inexperience manager never came out of her office to try resolve the issue. Alexander eventually told me, I wouldn't be charged. & I told him, I know. Highly disappointed massage session. I have been going to massages all my adult life-Monthly memberships. Been trying to find a good one since l moved here. I want to say this is my bottom 5 out of 70+ massages. Focused massage to them does not mean they will focus on something you want. They will just focused on THAT section, and disregard all the tightness and knots they come across. Just going with the usual routine motion. I came out of an hour session hurting instead of feeling relieved in a good kind of pain. I now have a stiff neck and the muscle on my shoulder I had hoped she would concentrate on, is worse. The reception lady at the front is super rude. Asks to charge the card as she sits there. I have multiple transactions on my statement within minutes, God knows what she did. and she DIDN'T even provide a receipt. She just asked if I wanted to charge my card on file. No receipt via email either. Mind you, the app doesn't even say how much a 60 minute focused massage is! No price listed, just the 30min massage, so I went in there blindly. Zen massage is easy, clean, and professional! I was able to book an appointment online the day before and got confirmation via email. Easy to locate via google maps. Check in/out was welcoming, the waiting area was relaxing. I booked a 90 min Swedish massage with Luz. She is so good! She focused on my requested areas (neck, shoulder). She had great firm pressure. The massage came with lots of hot towels throughout the massage- nice touch! The relaxing music was perfect. The aromatherapy was just enough! I am so happy to find a easy, clean, & professional place to get a massage in the neighborhood! I like being able to make an appt when I want and come in for a great service! Pricing is very fair- I was able to leave more tip to the masseuse! To comment on a review that stated the massage was short on time- My massage was the full 90mins-very punctual, no issues!
