We came in a group of 5 people and, unfortunately, everything was a bit disappointing.
The chicken pastel with catupiry, for example, tasteless. It looked like canned chicken, but without salt or any kind of seasoning, reddened by the mixture with some cheap tomato sauce. There is no green in the filling (something that any miserable oregano leaf would solve), which demonstrates the lack of affection in the preparation. In addition, the pastry dough was fried, but the filling was cold, which denotes that the filling is frozen, since the bland chicken froze unpleasantly melts in the mouth.
Another deplorable example was the coxinha. Presented deformed, very different from the menu photos, it shares the same suffering: the filling of the pastel.
The feijoada "fulfils what it promises", but only if you have a sharp appetite; and this is not a good thing, since there is a huge variety of good ingredients that could be modestly used, such as a simple piece of bacon!!
But not everything was unpleasant. The fried cassava and the sandwiches were satisfactory. But nothing extraordinary.
It is also worth saying that the service needs to improve; a lot! A simple glass of water can take more than 5 minutes to arrive, even if the restaurant is not busy. In addition, we ordered a pao de queijo that never arrived at the table.
In general, if you miss Brazil, this place can provide a vague reminiscence of home, but be careful not to make the good memories you have of home unpleasant.

Read moreThe first time I went there, the girl at the cash register messed up my order and missed something. She would not give me the other item because I was paying with a credit card, and didn't want to charge such small amount to the card. I just let it go, it may have been a misunderstanding. No one is perfect I make mistakes too. I did feel uncomfortable being there, in front of her, because she was not sociable. I didn't think I would be back. A week later my family wanted to taste the pão de queijo so I came back for them. The lady was there again. She is NOT rude or anything like that. She is just not too friendly, like as if she doesn't want to be there, makes you feel uncomfortable. Her mom was there. The mom is very friendly, she talks to you by making conversation. That is the service one looks for in a restaurant. I was very sad to see her go in the back to cook. It would be better for the mom to be up front serving the customers because she has peoples skills, is helpful, down to earth, sympathetic, and kind. The only downfall is that she only speaks Portuguese at the moment, and that is probably why she can't be at the cash register. My family loved the pão de queijo very tasty, but I will look for somewhere else to buy...
Read moreI was born and raised in Brazil. Every time my wife and I vacation in Las Vegas, we eat at this place, we try to support local businesses as much as possible. This restaurant used to be good .There are two waitresses, one is very nice, but the one who is always at the register could work on her people skills, too dry. I ordered 2 beef parmegianas+2 pastels+2 cans of guarana=41$, pricey. The meat was terrible. Both steaks had a huge piece of nerve right on the center, taking up 50% of the steak. The nerve was as hard as bone. The 2 cans of guarana were 3 bucks each. When the lady took them out of the fridge, they were still warm so I asked for a refund and she refused saying "you got to understand, we barely put the cans in the fridge, and it's just $6, take something else instead! " so I ended up taking 6 cans of coke. Although the pastels were good, this place is a joke! I'm never going back! check out 3 photos of the...
