Update The owner called me the same night to apologize and make things right. That meant a lot to me. Thank you!!
The pizza is delicious. We typically order pick up service from Legacy anytime our kid's school is hosting a pto fundraiser event through Legacy. However, tonight we decided to place a curbside order for the first time. When we pulled up there was no sign or information on what to do next, so we called just like you would at any other business that offers curbside service. The woman that answered the phone was pleasant and told us someone would be out to help us shortly. A female worker came out a moment later and explained to us that they have cameras so they know when someone has pulled up for a curbside order. She then proceeds to tell us how we didn't need to call the business once we arrived because it interrupts them from helping other customers and they are very busy and they don't have the time to answer the phone for curbside (this is all she came out for and took longer than my 30 second phone call.) I felt the last bit of information was very rude, unnecessary, and unprofessional. Her simply explaining that the cameras notify them that a customer is at curbside would have been enough. As mush as I love to support local businesses and my kids school, I don't think Legacy will be getting my...
Read moreWe ordered 3 pizzas and a bunch of desserts from Legacy Pizza yesterday evening, and I have to say it was hands down some of the best pizzas I have ever eaten, and everyone eating it agreed. It should be noted they had to survive a 40 minute trip before we were able to eat them, so WOW. Since moving up here we have tried almost if not every pizza place on this side of the bridge, and while some were good, none of them have wowed me like Legacy. I had very high expectations when ordering from this place because they are a bakery so the crust had to be good, and the fact they said they served New York style pizza, which is my favorite, but few actually deliver when making that claim. I was definitely not disappointed on all accounts. This is one of the only times I didn't order extra cheese, and the amount was perfect. The toppings are fresh and I appreciated that they had anchovies. We will definitely order from Legacy again, the only test they have left to pass is consistency. I have often times liked a place, only to be let down on the return visit, but I have a feeling, because of the care they took with our first order that is won't be a problem. I know I haven't said anything about the deserts, they were all delicious as well, I really liked the white chocolate pumpkin bar. I can't recommend this...
Read moreWe were trying to find a place to eat on Fourth of July and didn’t have a lot of luck. Until we called Legacy and thankfully they were open. I am glad it worked out that way because we had a great time.
We got there at about 8:15 and they still seated us. The vibes of the restaurant were really neat. I was very into the Game of Thrones posters and the Toulouse print. The staff were ridiculously sweet and we were there for them closing up so we got to see them go through their nightly shutdown routine and I have never seen teens take cleanup so seriously.
The food was absolutely phenomenal. We started with pepperoni rolls, which were very tasty and served with probably the best cherry pepper I have ever eaten. Then I got a calzone (made the correct way with ricotta cheese) and had them add capicola (which I was excited to see on the menu). My friend got an Italian sub which was massive and apparently also very good. Because they were closing up, we decided to get our dessert to go but we got a pistachio and a blueberry cannoli. Both were good but the pistachio was my favorite.
And because it’s a bakery we also got some sub rolls and cinnamon babka to take home.
Seriously give this...
