The Cloverleaf bar & grill — Restaurant in New Albany

I'm sitting here at The Cloverleaf the most delicious bar food I've ever had. The burger is bursting with juicy flavor, dripping its savor down my beard as I akwardly write this with my non-dominant hand. I just can't put it down, but couldn't finish it without writing a review. The world deserves this burger. Then there are these fries. You know when you get crinkle fries just right and they wind up crispy crunchy on the outside while being buttery soft on the inside? Well, these fries take that to the next level. I'm not sure what kind of oil they cooked these in or at what temperature, but they are buttery in flavor, perfectly salted, crispy-yet-soft, and are just a gorgeous golden hue. As a side, I went with some fried mushrooms. They must have the temperature set just right. A crispy, not-greasy-at-all, lightly-peppered shell encompasses a tender mushroom with just the right bite to it. Once again they've nailed it. Add to all this deliciousness the small town homey vibe with a great tavernous atmousphere with included outdoor seating in a fenced-in patio and I could this being a place I frequent, and would recommend anyone do the same.

The food is good neighborhood bar food. I enjoy the burger and the cheese bites. The pizza bites are recommended. Cheap drinks and they have karaoke on Friday and Saturday and this coming 26th is a Halloween Party. Everyone that comes here know each other and are friendly. If you wanna go to one of the best neighborhood bars in New Albany, Indiana or even southern Indiana; this place is a safe bet. It's next to a railroad and it's a historic bar. The railroad men would stop and grab beer and food and head across the Ohio River. Also the signage inside this bar is pretty amazing. If your a picker you'd appreciate it. I'll see you...

1 star?? Absolutely not. I am a 35 year old woman. The OWNER literally shoved me down and pushed me to concrete bc I disagreed with him about one of his tattoos artists work and put his hands on me and is a whole “man”. I can’t believe the women who work for him still work for him. Everyone who works here or supports his business should be ashamed of themselves.
