Wacky Nachos — Restaurant in New Albany

I was in the area for work, and this place comes up on some lists for best burger, but they have other food including burritos. I ordered one, and they put what I wanted in it, and it rivals LaBamba's in Indianapolis for being as big as your head. You'll want a fork and knife to eat it.

It was delicious. Toppings were fresh and plentiful in variety and what they put in the burrito. I got the meal which comes with a side and drink. You could get a big bag of nachos or fries to go with it, and I went with fries. They can put salt, or several other flavors on them, and I chose cheese (I believe they call it queso) which was good, but wasn't what I would chose for fries. The drink is a rather large fountain drink, although they had run out of diet while I was there, so they gave me a 16oz bottle of Diet Coke.

Service was great. Both people working were friendly and helpful. I'm not 100% sure why this place gets so many 1 star ratings, but I saw no logical reason for them in my visit.

Since my work brings me to the area once every month or two, I'll have to drop by to try the burgers and nachos sometime later. Would highly recommend.

I did give Atmosphere 3 stars, but that was because their dining room was not open when I was there, and I sat in...

I absolutely love the food at Wacky Nachos! And omg... the ice cream is literally THE ABSOLUTE BEST AROUND! It's a small restaurant with the most friendly people working there! I asked lots of questions my first time going (because I wasn't too sure what I'd like) and the owner (and also the cook) didn't mind letting me sample the different nachos he created himself-which I thought was pretty awesome! His daughter was running the register and was sweet as can be and super polite! Sad to see them no longer open, but am hoping to see the big "cotton candy van" parked in front of the building again soon!! =). #WackyNacho....

Came here with a few coworkers for lunch. Service was top notch, efficient and even with 4 orders back to back, was pretty fast. Food was really good. Personally I'd recommend the beef or chicken tacos. The steak was pretty good to, but I prefer the other two more. Price was really good, although we came on a Tuesday and of course taco Tuesday saved us a little bit. They have a huge selection of different flavored cotton candies as well, pretty interesting and a different type of casual sweet to end a meal. Overall, really pleased with this place, I'll be back...
