I went to subway today and was totally disappointed, and walked out without my food. It's the principal of the situation. One I asked for a foot long pizza sub and I wanted double meat, I asked the younger girl how much was it for meat, she stated 75 cents so I said I'll take double meat. I asked how much for extra cheese she said 30 cents, Ok I'll take it. Got to the register my it was triple the amount. It was $2.50 for the extra meat not $1.50 and it was .75 for the cheese. I looked and the older lady why are you charging me $2.50 for the meat when the younger girl told me that it was .75? The older lady said it's $1.50 for extra meat and you got two, then the younger girl turned to the older lady and said " I thought it was .75?" The older lady then responds some meat is .75 extra. The younger girl said she was sorry she thought it was .75. Then I went to my next question why is my cheese .75 and not .30? The older lady said it's .30 for each 6 inches meaning if I get a 6 inch its .30 and if I get a 12 inch it's .60. That wasn't posted on the board, so I said ok if that's the case why are you charging me .75? The older lady said because the owner hasn't change the price in the system, but it's only an extra .15. I told her I don't care if it's only an extra .15 you should charge me what I'm supposed to be charged and what I was told I was going to be charged. The older lady just looked at me like I was talking Greek. I was going to suck it up and pay almost $10.00 for the sub until she thought it was ok to charge someone and extra .15. So this owner has been charging people and 37.5 cents instead of .30 cents when you buy extra cheese, that is theft by deception!! I'm not sure if I'll ever go back to that subway because she didn't even care that I was upset. So that means that you don't care if I spend my money...
Read moreI went to this Subway using the drive thru to place my order. Upon arrival to the speaker the employee told me that I would have to wait a minute before she could take my order which is beyond understandable and I have no objection with. The employee comes back on and ask for my order, so I give the order for my first sandwich and then asked if I was going to order anymore sandwiches, understandable, I informed her yes there will be a total of three sandwiches. She asked what the bread was for the first one and after repeating it to her I'm immediately told "hold on one second" not a big deal, then she comes back on and asked what meat would be on the first sandwich. I informed her of what my selection was and it was acknowledged with another "hold on one second" I thought this is odd. When she came back on and asked if I wanted it toasted I said yes and was met with another "hold on a second". It then dawned on me this girl is making my sandwich as I'm ordering. So I asked the employee if she was ready to take my order or if she was busy and was confused when she responded, "Yes but hold on one second." Clearly this was an oxymoron, when asked if it was a yes or hold on a second she came back on saying she couldn't make three sandwiches at once. I left after asking pardon me. Why do they not write an order down for the drive thru is beyond me. I'll will not be returning to this...
Read moreI visiting the subway location on Charlestown Rd New, Albany IN on 11/20/2024. While waiting at the drive up window I observed a little girl (maybe 2 years old) behind the counter on the employee side of the restaurant. The child pulled several subway drinking cups from the dispenser and placed her mouth on the cups. The child even appeared to place a cup over her mouth and then sucked in to suction it to her face. She then placed the cups back into the dispenser. I’m sure these cups then got distributed to the next customers that came through. The drive in employee was in sight and was even talking to the child as she did this. I send a complaint to subway but I have not heard anything back for over two weeks. There is no corporate customer service number listed anywhere that goes through to anyone. With RSV, COVID, Flu, and other illnesses going around right now, I found it unacceptable to allow a child to contaminate cups that would be given to possible health fragile people. Unacceptable and poor customer service. There appears to be absolutely NO accountability for employees or franchise owners as there is no way to reach corporate subway. The only method is through the online system which they haven’t replied to. The rating of 1 star for the food quality was given because we could not enjoy or eat the food after seeing the unsanitary conditions at...
