If i could leave zero stars, I WOULD. The link on google was incorrect, I ordered NEW BALTIMORE and went to the CHESTERFIELD location, when i ordered from New Baltimore. The Jimmy John Online order address specifically google mapped me to 21 and Gratiot, I'm not from this area so i didn't know the difference. Now i'm upset because it has been 20 minutes since ordering and i have to get back to where I was. I tried to explain what happened to the manager and he was like it happens all the time because both locations say New Baltimore. BUT i said to him shouldn't that be fixed...he said it was out of his hands. so what ever. I get the food and go back to where needed to be. I get back and we look at the one sub, something that we paid extra for was NOT on the sub. So now I'm calling the 23 and Jefferson location, where the manager is at. and a young lady answers the phone, I let her know what happened and she starts to argue with me like, "I know I made the sub correctly , it was the first one I made for the day!" I said " well i'm the customer looking at the sub, and you make alot of subs, so i don't understand why you are arguing with me, that is not how you talk to people." THEN i get handed over to the manager, he agreed how she spoke to me was wrong, but then all of a sudden he changes his tude, "Your topping was only .75 cents, want me to send over a topping? or i can replace the sub." At this point its been 45 minutes since we ordered and actually got to sit and eat at work. We decided to just eat it. BUT instead of offering something for THEIR MISTAKES. They yelled at me, and let the young lady be disrespectful to someone (not really setting an example to all the teenagers who work there either) , if the teenagers have that to look up to in their starter careers, i fear the work ethic they will carry to future jobs. If you choose to come to this Jimmy Johns, go to give a moral lesson to the young ones working for people with terrible attitudes , setting bad examples to the...
Read moreI rarely write reviews, but feel compelled too after attempting to redeem a free Reward Sandwich from the New Baltimore location. I am a frequent customer who primarily orders online and have not had any issues with utilizing the Rewards program there; however, about 6 months ago I ordered at the drive thru and tried to redeem a free sandwich when I paid at the pick-up window. I was told I needed to give them my account information when I ordered so I was not able to redeem the Reward. I was a bit disappointed, but understood so it was no big deal. To avoid a similar issue issue today, I went into the store to place an order that included a free Reward Sandwich. I asked the cashier/manager if he needed to scan the Reward before I placed the order and his response was rude, flippant and arrogant. He said if it showed up on his end after I ordered he would give me the free sandwich and if it didn’t he would not. I attempted to show him the Reward Expiration date in my iPhone Wallet, but he continued to say that people say that all the time but it doesn’t show up on his end so they don’t get the Reward. He then said “do you think I want to give out Free Sandwiches”. I told him that I didn’t think that was a very polite way to treat customers and he said “Do you think I need anymore customers?” I told him I thought he was being rude and then he said “ you’re really starting to piss me off”. As a result, I turned around to leave and he said “good, there you go”. This location may do a good business, but this cashier/manager has no business dealing with the public, he should stick with making sandwiches and let others deal with customers. Also, if they don’t want to honor the Jimmy John’s Reward program, they should just opt out and make that their store policy rather than treating frequent customers like garbage when they try to use the Rewards Jimmy...
Read moreJimmy John's in New Baltimore, MI is the biggest RIP OFF with the WORST customer service. When I got my #16 LULU sandwich home, I was surprised with all the mayo on it. I ordered without mayo , also indicated on the receipt. They were closed when I went to eat and discovered all the mayo. I drove 20 minutes back to the store the next day after they just opened up and told the manager of my order being wrong. He blew me off and said he was not going to replace or remake my sandwich the correct way as indicated on my receipt, stating no mayo. Manager was extremely RUDE and disrespectful. Jimmy John's is the biggest rip off, I'm not sure how they stay in business. The manager needs to learn Basic customer service skills. I will never be back and have told everyone I work with and know about my horrible experience. So I basically lost $8 on a useless sub and a lot of travel time and gas on the original purchase and the return trip the next day. Also, I am not supposed to eat mayo for medical reasons, besides the fact I don't Like it either. I recommend not patronizing this business, they do not stand behind their product and treat customers very poorly and don't deserve...
