This place is tucked away from the traffic of 23 mile road. Alexander's is clean with an open spacious layout easily able to accommodate large parties walking in. BIG positive was they had signs inside, outside, and on table displaying specials. Bonus points for having condiments on the table so I don't have to ask for them like many places these days. I like to review mom and pop places whenever possible. I went with my co-workers after reading a couple of 1⭐ reviews saying it was expensive. They said it wasn't true. When I saw the blue hairs walking in and out I knew there was value to be had. I am cheap so don't go out to eat much. I planned to get the omelette to compare to the bad reviews but I had a hankering for veal dinner ($10) for lunch. The veal was absolutely delicious along with tasty garlic toast. The accompanying spaghetti and lemon rice soup with the meal were good. I had 2 cups of coffee and was offered a 3rd I declined. Service was prompt for a lunch hour. This tight wad will return on some paydays and those 1⭐ clowns clearly got their head dented as babies.

This dining experience is reminiscent of a hearty home-cooked meal, but in a restaurant setting. Megan is an exemplary server, deserving of accolades. The servers are consistently friendly and attentive. The turkey dinner is exceptional, and burgers and chicken sandwiches are also praiseworthy. Omelets are delectable, crafted with superior ingredients, a hallmark of the establishment. The menu also offers an extensive selection of hot dog styles. Mason's Mayhem Hash is a favorite breakfast, and the addition of an egg is a delightful touch. Be sure to sample one of their scrumptious desserts. This restaurant excels in breakfast, lunch, and dinner specials, including the Polish dinner special, a personal favorite. To stay informed about daily specials, follow them on Facebook. 🙂

Alexander’s: I have been here a few times since ownership has changed with my brother for breakfast. We receive good service and good food at a descent price. So I thought it was time to update my review. NEY YORK DELI: The clam chowder is not edible as I can see and taste the flour they used to thicken it đŸ€ź. It should also not taste like chicken soup. Thank goodness they didn’t have to thicken the cabbage soup. I also liked the flavor of the cabbage soup. Unfortunately the clam chowder was for a sick child. Update my child’s father returned with more soup and food from here the next day and it was much better. Chicken lemon rice and fried mushrooms. So maybe they just shouldn’t try clam chowder.)

Myself, sister, and niece ordered breakfast 2- two eggs om, ham, hashbrowns, and white toast, 1- two eggs om, bacon, hashbrown, and white toast. There was thick brown beard hair all over all of the toast. We took the toast back to get another three orders of toast. The owner danced around the restaurant, yelling this is my restaurant. She started yelling at my sister, telling her she was a liar, we put the hair in the toast, and it was her hair. Mind you, my sister has colorful hair with a blonde base. Then she proceeded to go behind the counter, leaned over it, and yelled at my (15-year-old) niece "to get her point across!" Then she said that it was from the butter brush, but there was hair on the toast where there was no butter. The owners husband came out and tried to calm his wife down and stop her from dancing around. He admitted that there was something on the toast and replaced all three orders. I have worked in restaurants and customer service for over 20 years. I have never seen something like this happen, let alone telling a customer that they are wrong and a liar. We we weren't asking for our money back. We just wanted new toast. It is unfortunate that this situation happened. Even though our order was replaced, I still felt it was important to leave this review so people are aware of one of the owners' behavior and the hair in the food.

Update: I appreciate the apology, and I made it very clear that the toast was replaced. It might help if the owners would switch the brush over to silicone, and it won't t leave hair on the toast. The attitude and behavior from an owner towards a customer and a minor is completely unacceptable. You can call me whatever you want, but there is no truth stretching in my review. It doesn't benefit me to lie about the food or treatment of...

The Owner is terrible,Last night I ordered a grilled chicken pita with grilled chicken and bacon only. I explained that is what I only want(as they have gotten this simple order wrong before), and when I get there the owner calls my name and explains that last time she didn't write it on the ticket and she was sorry. I get outside and look and completely wrong. I go back in and explain it AGAIN, and she tries to yell at the waitress like it was her fault, but she was the one who took the order. So she gives me a remade order and for some reason 12 dollars and hand me the order. I drive home angry but understanding because she at least tried to make it right. I get home and open it and WRONG AGAIN. I call back and she is in disbelief, so I go back and she gives me and attitude how she didn't take my order and she doesn't even know what comes on the pita. At that point I was done and walked out and told her this is unacceptable and she should not answer the phone, and she laughes and say I didn't even take the order. She is the worst and she will push you away also. STAY AWAY. TDLR: Stay away from this place and just eat right next door, you money, time, and mind will thank you. Update: Went to Mcdonalds this morning and they messed up my order, I called and they were so nice. They remade my food CORRECT and refunded for my inconvenience. This owner should go see how your supposed to...
