Enjoyed going! They were pretty busy on a Friday night but thankfully they accept reservations! That was a huge plus! The atmosphere is great and it is situated in downtown where you can easily walk to other locations after. The menu is not overwhelming but still offers a great variety of options for anyone to find something. The service was nice but a bit slow to get refills and food did take a LONG time to get out to us. (about 45 mins after order for a group of 5, again it was a busy night so they probably were doing what they could!) The food was good but not great! At least... My dish! Haha. I ordered the surf and turf burger and I was excited at the interesting combo of doing lobster on a burger. However, I felt the lobster was really lacking. Not in terms of flavor but being washed out by the burger. The meat itself was again, good not great. I wasn't in anyway upset that I ate what I did but I was a bit disappointed. The fries are a thin cut and a bit crispy. Personally, that is my preference! So I adored the fries! All together 4 stars! However, the rest of the table has different meals and I would say that the French onion soup and the fish tacos seem like the way to go! My buddy raved about them! Cost ranges between 16-20 a meal without drinks and tip. So be prepared to drop a bit of your drinking as well! Haha. Overall, a good experience and had an great time with some friends! I would go again for sure!

Make a reservation for Saturday night. It was busy when we went but the patio was closed due to rain. I had assumed this was more of a brewery than a restaurant but was pleasantly surprised to see amazing food. For beers, my husband and I ordered their Inward Delight (Oktoberfest) and the Ishm-Ale (Irish-style amber) and we had a hard time telling which was which--they didn't taste exactly the same but either could be confused for the other. I also had the Rice Pudding martini which was yummy and sampled the Quick Eternity which I loved. Our table shared the Gold Fever Wings (7-8 pc), pretzels with beer cheese (3 pc and came with TONS of cheese) and Generals Cauliflower--evereything was delicious!! Our friend had the shrimp Mozambique meal which smelled amazing. Service was very friendly, bathrooms were clean, parking was ok but free after 6pm. As we were finishing up, an awesome live musician started to play so we ended up staying for another round. Would return to try more of their beers!

Nothing is more disappointing than ordering to-go from a place of usual enjoyment just to have every item be a big disappointment. (Sigh) Especially when it's in celebration of a birthday. This is our usual go-to spot for fried calamari so we ordered two. Sadly they most certainly changed the recipe cause it was nothing like they've made before. It was bland, had no crisp to it, and left a chalky texture/ aftertaste (gross IMO). I had ordered the pullpork sandwich and was not aware they put coleslaw on it, which really wouldn't be a problem for me but please see picture attached. Coleslaw sandwich or pulled pork??? I paired it with the sweet potato fries which were okay and a decent sized portion. Also we had the chili cheese nachos, we were not a fan. It looked like clay with beans was just thrown on top of a handful of chips and I didn't see any cheese ..for 13$šŸ‘ŽšŸ‘ŽšŸ‘Ž For a slow Monday night I had much higher expectations considering the price we paid + tip. šŸ˜’

I had received a gift card in a 'Yankee Swap' & never been before, although I remember reading about the different brews they had,. My friend & I decided to go for lunch today, Friday around 1pm. The reason we stopped going Downtown was because the dreaded meters, as we can yap & before you know it the meters out & you return to your car for a ticket when all you wanted to do was support local businesses. Between meters & hard to find parking, we had not been for a long time...so we were happy to see (meter) a spot open right beside the entrance! 1hr is all you can put apparently, so we had to keep that in mind. We were sat immediately as there was only a few tables taken, which was nice, but lol, did not last long...although it wasnt an issue at all, it was just crazy how FAST it filled up! Our server came over & after asking her about the Sangria I was considering (or the Espresso Martini), I went with the Harvest Sangria after she suggested it...it was really good & had a nice apple flavor, a little tart, but not that fake apple flavor some of the caramel apple drinks can have, so I was happy! I got the chowder, very good, excellent amount of clams & creamy ($7)! My friend did not get a starter & went with soda. After a good amount of time (perfect for finishing any appetizers & chatting, but not so long you're wondering if they forgot to put your order in, lol), a gentleman came over with our food. I got the Fish & chips ($20) and my friend got the house burger. The fish & chips were a good serving for lunch (Im not sure if its the same size for dinner, as the menu does say lunch/dinner, in which case, Id say it was little small for a dinner plate) and the 'chips' were very good! Thin sliced handmade fries cooked to a perfect crisp! My friend really enjoyed her burger and had no left overs, lol! I did take half my plate home, though, Im not a big eater and already had the whole cup of chowder. The take home worked out perfect though, as the fish came in two pieces, so I ate one, took the other with me and because they do put a good amount of fries, I had plenty to take home for another small meal! I was a little disappointed the server never came back to make sure everything was ok or to see if we wanted anything while we were eating, I would have ordered a soda with my meal, but wasnt going to try & flag her down, I just went without. She did come over when it was obvious we were done & asked if we wanted a box and then asked if we wanted anything else. We were both satisfyingly full, so we just got the check. I had a gift card, but also would have to pay cash for the rest (my friend got a seperate check & paid cash). I used my card, a large bill & had the coins as well. So, I would have gotten close to a hundred dollars back, as I didnt go over the gift card amount that much, so I was surprised and a bit worried to see I only had a few ones given to me, lol! I immediately went up to the register & spoke with the girl that sat us, as she was already at the register & our waitress wasnt around...I was worried theyd think I pulled a scam or something, even though the receipt showed what I paid with & my change should be....she listened to my explanation of what happened & said she'd take care of it. I went back to my table & a few minutes our waitress came over with my change & explained she got mixed up & gave me the wrong money back. Fair enough, as long as I got my change back, lol, that would have been an expensive lunch! I did not get the correct change, lol! They didnt put in the coins, so I was still missing $1.01, no big deal, I just showed her again where the mistake was & had her add that to the tip amount and we left! It seemed like she was having a long day or perhaps new to the service industry & mistakes happen. I also know how tough it can be working in the service industry, my mom was a waitress at a very popular local restaurant a few years ago (for 36 years!) & I have heard some of her stories, lol! I also have had many younger people get confused when giving...

Ok food, good beers, poor service

I’ve been here 4 times and the last time for my girlfriends high school reunion. The foods generally good but the potato skins, vegetables, and fries served for the reunion were mediocre at best. The beer is always good however the last time I was there bartender charged me for an extra beer. I ordered four beers (3 for myself & 1 for my girlfriend) all IPAs and there was an additional beer we did not order. When I brought this to the bartender’s attention she remarked she was sure we ordered it somehow but described it as a ā€œbud lightā€ type beer despite the fact I told her that we both only ordered IPAs. I was then pointed to the manager who started the conversation as the bartender being sure of our orders instead of listening to why I disagreed. I told clearly that it was not about the money as I could have just left $0 tip for the $34 bill which should have been ~ $28 and it would have made up for the overcharge but I didn’t want to stiff the bartender (despite the overcharge and ensuing dispute). After another few remarks from the manager about him being concerned about giving ā€œfree drinksā€ for legal reasons which was just cover for him thinking I was lying to get out of $6... he finally quipped that he refunded $6.41 on my bill like I was lucky that he couldn’t prove whether I was lying (despite the fact that when I order 4 or yes 5 beers, I know how many beers I ordered). As a former restaurant employee I just don’t understand why this attitude was taken as it loses them my future business and those of the people I go out with in the area...
