Pan Del Cielo Bakery — Restaurant in New Britain

Had to give a star in order to write a review otherwise they wouldn't of gotten it. HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! Worst place to go! there is always only just one or two people working, if that. Very slow!!!! be ready to order and wait for an hr. Everytime i go is always the same thing u wait for an hr or more and they get ur sandwich wrong or they end up mistakenly giving ur sandwich away and after an hr wait you have to wait again for them to get it right smdh. First time i went there i I tought ok they are short staffed I had to wait 45 min for a sandwich. Then they got the order wrong but I still ate it cuz I was already at home and hungry and i tought you know sometimes that happens they are short staffed and they had a line and I've worked in fast foods so i know the feeling when u are trying to just get people in and out so i get it. 2nd time I gave them the benefit of the doubt and I went back and again had to wait a long time.This time I wanted to try a different spot but It was closed so I had to go there and omg just never again I could of probably ordered went shopping dropped it off at my house and then go back to pick up the sandwiches for them to still not be done. Waste of time and money I could just make sandwiches way better at home...

It's a great place. Been coming here since I moved to New Britain from Florida a year ago. I bring my friends and co workers here on brake every day. Until today. It's my birthday and my wife is having my first child. Left to come and pick up a sandwhich for my wife because this is her favorite spot. Today out of all days she asked for it cold. I don't care to day .75 cents to heat it. I was made feel like if I was a layer. I am not a bum. And I work very hard to have been given attitude over a mistake that was done on your part. I when to this bakery today to get two sandwiches same sandwiches 2 mi cielos both with everything inside. 1 quesito, 2 pastelillos, when I look at my receipt it says this lady came and charge me $34.22 dollars for this items then I come and look and she has the nerves to charge me different prices for the same mi cielo sandwiches I got one for $6.99 then the other one for $8.99 and a extra $.050 cents for each for extra everything . $6.40 for 2 pastelillos are u seriouslys??
