The whole experience was absolutely horrible. We walked in and stood for 5 minutes while a table of servers and employees sat there laughing and eating and not one acknowledged us. When we did get seated the server forgot about us. When she finally came and got our order the food took forever. We over heard them that they forgot about my food. They served me slime eggs, raw cold hashbrowns, and bacon that you could see the rawness on it. Not one time did our server ask how things were. She dropped and went on her way. After sitting for 15 20 minutes with no return we just decided to leave. The lady that rang us out made me feel like a bother to pay them for their horrible experience. Never asked how things were. Every one was rude from their looks and expressions. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I would rather of paid for dog food. It probably would have been more appealing.

Read moreGreat food, clean establishment, great servers. Stopped in after reading Google reviews. We weren't disappointed! We shared the biscuits and gravy- server brought to table already split on separate plates. Biscuit was just right amount of crust on outside and buttery/flaky on inside. Sausage gravy could use more sausage and less flour/pepper but was still tasty. I had Mexican omelet special- chorizo, peppers, cheese- opted for no onion. Came with sides of sour cream and homemade green and red salsas. Very tasty! Hashbrowns were plentiful and crispy as ordered. Toast was not buttered which I wish I'd have known so I could butter it while still warm since I always eat my toast last. Hubby had meat lovers omelet and ate every morsel on his plate. Both omelets were HUGE since they are 5-egg omelets. Service was great and friendly making chit chat conversation that was sincere. We will definitely visit again next...
Read moreFriendly staff & down home cooking with generous portions and fair prices. I stop here once every couple of weeks for breakfast on the weekends. Clean & quick, you will be treated well and will never go away hungry, or seldom without leftovers. You can almost always get a table right away, though there might be an occasional wait for larger groups. Breakfast is excellent, and if you happen to order a skillet, make sure to try their homemade salsa (don't be afraid to ask if they don't ask you first- it's worth it!). My personal favorite is the gypsy skillet with pancakes. A well kept secret that's well worth a visit. Check out the rest of New Carlisle when you finish...
