If there was a Zero Star Rating that's what this location would get from me. I ordered by phone the $5.99 deal and got 3 med pizzas with 2 toppings each, 1 order of BBQ wings, 1 order of cinnamon twists, one order of garlic twist, a order of chocolate lava cake and a 2 liter of pink lemonade. They left out the garlic twists, didn't give us our 2 liter and when we called about it the worker was a total jerk! On my way back to the restaurant I called just to tell them that we were on our way back to get the 2 missing items, and the workers response (instead of an apology or I don't know, a kind gesture or something) he proceeds to argue with me about whether I ordered to begin with or not. And how I should have gotten the drink out of the fridge myself. Heaven forbid you offer to throw together the missing item while I'm in route and apologize that it was missed originally. Dude! For real! We weren't looking for a free hand out... Offering to correct the mistake wouldn't have taken ANY effort! Then when we walked in to the store, you all but Threw the receipt at my son while annunciating that it wasn't ON the receipt in front of 3 other parties waiting for their food...and still, not offering to make the order! Really!? People who don't FEEL like the service was acceptable don't come back! I won't ever and neither will a lot of people if you are treating them the same! This employee should at the very least have a firm reprimand if not termination, or else this location should be shut down! This treatment is Absolutely inexcusable! Meanwhile, we won't address the fact that and order that should have been a part of the $5.99 deal was charged to us at $6.35 because You couldn't even honor customer service that way by acting like it WAS part of the original order and only charging me the $5.99. And we also won't reference the fact that the pizzas that were ALSO supposed to be $5.99 because of the special, were charged to me at $13.29 each so I had already paid more than necessary...
Read moreI am (was) a loyal Domino's customer and would order from there too many times in a month then a I care to admit. I love their rewards program and their medium pizza deals plus their app is easy to use and is pretty accurate most of the time. Then I moved to New Castle, PA and I started ordering from this location. My boyfriend and I were waiting for our pizza and when it hit an hour from ordering (which is unusual and I was told it would be a 35-45 minute wait), I looked at the app and saw that had my pizza being deliver just under 10 minutes prior. Concerned that perhaps the pizza was delivered to the wrong address, I called the store and, although unknown to me at the time, got their General Manager (his name currently eludes me). He looked up the order and told me that the driver had been dispatched 20 minutes ago, no other information or explanation, he was just quiet on the other end. I live right up the street from the location, so even with other deliveries that seemed like a long time. When it was clear he wasn't saying anything else, I asked him, "Are you saying that it was delivered already?" To which he responded in a in a "mean girl", you're such a dumba$$ kind of way, "Well, you and I both know that it isn't, is it?" Taken aback at his tone and attitude, I told him that he didn't need to be rude. I was concerned the pizza was delivered elsewhere. He laughed. I hung up.
Fast-forward to when the driver arrived and I told him what had happened and that I was EXTREMELY upset about the phone call, he was SUPER nice and apologized. It was then that I found out it was the GM and that apparently there are complaints lodged against him all the time regarding his attitude and customer service. I got the feeling that this manager creates a very stressful work environment for his employees with his rough manner.
So now, as I sit and eat my Pizza Hut pizza that just arrived, I will never returned to Domino's as a customer unless I move and have a different delivery location or that manager...
Read moreI ordered 2 pizzas from here. First thing, the pizzas cost $43.00 for 2 medium pizzas, including the special $1 parmesan breadsticks. Ok, I knew that before I ordered, so I guess I can't complain...even though that's a lot of money for 2 medium pizzas (note: I got a combined 7 toppings, so I want to be fair by telling this up front). The real problem was that it took them 1 hour and 37 minutes to deliver our pizza - actually, I'm still waiting for it at the 1 hour and 37 minute mark, but it still hasn't been delivered. The Dominos website said that it would take between 25 and 37 minutes, and then that it was already delivered, but when I called the store, the guy told me that they don't have any control over the website and their typical wait time is over an hour when their busy. Granted, tonight is Friday night, so I expect them to be a little late, but a 1 hour and 37 (39 minutes by now)? I don't mind paying the $43 for on-time pizza, and I don't mind waiting an hour for cheap pizza, but the fact that I'm waiting an hour and (40) minutes now for 2 $43 medium DOMINO's pizza's is almost too much to bear. Wait, the doorbell just rang...Ok, pizza's here...and it's cold. I told the driver "that took a while" and he shrugged and said "We're busy" as if that explains everything. I still gave him a good tip (assuming it isn't his fault). Next time, (uggh) DiGiorno. It's not as good, but at least my family eats at a reasonable time. All told, it took 1 hour and 45 minutes for delivery (give or take a few minutes). I'm not happy Dominos! Update: They forgot the diced tomatoes and extra jalapenos on my pizza, so it was even more...
