Speedy Cafe — Restaurant in New Castle

I am 65 and a little bit weak. These girls (employees) are wonderful 👍. The scramble thru the store to get what I usually purchase. They even stop to ask if there's anything else that I need. I go there every or every other day..They are attentive and fast but, we agreed that it would behove Sr./higher ranking Managers could ask to have the little baskets so customers like me could carry my faves without dropping it or cause me to smash up even my donuts. I believe that you get my Idea and what I'm getting at. They would be no more work than the slurpy counter. They are attentive, but when it's crowded... they DO help everyone that they are able to help. I go around the store just to see if I have forgotten about anything. Those little baskets would be AMAZING help in the process of getting my items. (Two)2-liter bottles become my worst enemy. I live so close to the store that I will leave some items and make a 2nd trip to get the rest of them. The employee can't leave the building, no matter what I buy!!

This place is terrible. Went here for a free donut during grand opening, kids and I picked out a few, go to pay, clerk says "uh, that's only good from 6am-10am". Read the in store ad and he was right, course the print was so small I needed a magnifying glass to see it. Then the dude just threw donuts away. I get it, but having worked in good industry, u go ahead and give the person the food to build customer rapport

Then stopped in again with kids on a hot day because they had a .79¢ drink deal. Walk in, obviously get the biggest cups there filled up, clerk says "nope, the deal doesn't apply to that size", check ad, he's right, but the words are blocked by the other ad placed on top of it.

Complain via Twitter, they gave me the standard run around and then had the balls to ask if I wanted to sign up for their reward card!

I stopped to get some food from the Cafe. All the employees were really nice and helpful even got some good laughs in. Lovely was the woman who made our food and when I tell yal it was so good I put in another order before my first meal was finished to have later for dinner. It was only a sandwich but It was so good I had too. She made sure that my family had everything we needed and even had a nice conversation while we it was being prepared. I dont live in new castle but if i was out there and hungry at be at that...
