Walked in to place order. 3 people working. 2 different parties in dining room. 1 awaiting his carryout order. Another was a party of 3 dining in. Maybe 3 cars in DT. Ladies were hustling, which I can appreciate bc there is nothing like walking into a restaurant only to find people w/thumbs up their @$$3$ lazily daydreaming. Lady took our order, as we "build-a-bear🌯-4-our-belly". She carried herself as a PIC of the 3 there. Only issue I saw (for her) as she was making my other ½'s bowl, was a "cross contamination" issue that might cause problems for some people. She used the same utensil to scoop out the shredded pork, as she did with the other meat. We are ok & thankfully don't have any food allergy related issues, but just notating this as a "teachable moment" rather than having people get into trouble is all. Another worker was at the food station preparing an order, seemed a little flustered, possibly new to the team, idk, but she hung in the game and got it down. Younger lady on the DT was steadily busy as well, in between attempting to get the floor mopped, & tend to her DT order(s) & also assist the other 2 by stocking the line up 4 them. Overall Great teamwork amongst the 3 ladies. My only (Big) issue(s) is, What exactly is the uniform policy? Call it my previous (asst.mgr) managerial brain speaking here so forgive me, these are things i notice. I failed to see any type of Name tags, hair nets, & sorry little one working on DT, not trying to drag ya down/throw ya under the bus, so don't take it personal, but if I was your mgr. I would've sent you home due to what you were wearing( Crocs, fuzzy night socks, short blue jean shorts, your hoodie jacket was unzipped, which can be a hazard also) Working in the food industry, people have no idea of the danger's "behind the line's". I simply say this for your safety as well as your coworkers & also your customer's. Little one on DT, it's just a teaching moment , you were busting your little butt though. Hard worker there, but just a little "Food for Thought". I had a Pork Verde as a Bowl minus Pico, Extra Verde sauce, & Lime,(cause you know, I'm "Hick-spanic" lol!) Side of Sour cream. My other ½ got some kind of Flaming hot Cheetos type of bowl, but they were out of the Cheetos & offered him the same as Dorito's -form. He seemed to enjoy his better. I believe he inhaled, rather than chewed his food 😂 I didn't think it would be much difference that mine was missing that little cilantro-taste-bite to that particular bowl, but my does it make a huge difference. Not complaining I had a decent meal for dinner. So 👍🏽 & good job on your...
Read moreThere was 1 lady who made both mine n my bfs bowls bc we always get bowls n she did so really quickly...quicker then what 2 ppl do at our normal hothead we go to usually more then any others! Super friendly n the place was beyond spotless. The only complaint I truly have about this place at all is yes given they were all teens or jus out of the reach of being 1 but old enough 2 know that the kind of music u play while u STILL HAVE CUSTOMERS IN THE STORE SHOULD NOT BE VULGAR AT ALL which it was BEYOND VULGAR!!! I almost called the place the next day to complain n had I had a child or even teenager w/ me I definitely would have bc not only was the music jus absolutely disgusting for a place of business but it was really super loud n then the dancing 1 started 2 do was jus as disgusting as the music she was playing n she was a manager/team leader I believe. Ppl walked in n I thought ok she will turn it down but that never happened....I was very disappointed in her 4 this! Other then that the food was great how we was treated was wonderful n respectful the place u could eat off the floor if u wanted 2..... Then she played that music n started dancing on 1 of the younger boys there....we went from 😁 to...
Read moreOK, I was asked to elaborate on my review because the owner was curious as to why only two stars. My wife, my two daughters and I decided to try this place as it was brand new in town. We had been watching them get the place ready over the past several months. We stopped in and each ordered burrito bowls. They wound up making an extra one because they misheard my daughter. I mean, what petite 13 year old doesn't eat two adult sized meals. As we made our way down to the end to pay, the cashier rang me up for $80 and change. Seriously!?! She double checked the order and that's when we realized about the extra meal. The cashier said, "Well she ordered it!" Rather than argue I just said forget it, and paid the bill. The food was so-so in my opinion. Better than Taco Bell but not as good as El Chili Poblano across the street. Which, by the way, I've taken my family there for dinner and paid a lot less then $80 for a good meal. I will say that the place was clean and well kept. I can't see a scenario where I'll return but I wish them luck...
