This place has really gone downhill. Every time I make an order, they always forget things. They’ll remember to charge you for it, but the contents won’t be there. Every time I go they forget parts of the order. But they’ll sure charge for it. Check your bags before driving off. Due to the consistency of this issue, it lends s to the notion that this might be a manager/trainer issue. I understand this is an entry-level job for kids in high school to gain some valuable work experience. But at the end of the day, the neglect for quality and service ends up costing the customer money.
The drive threw employee today had ear buds in her ear, phone in hand while listening to music all whilst taking food orders from customers in the drive through. Which could have been the reasoning this time for neglecting to fulfill the order in its entirety. No one checked the bag as items were tossed in. I’m ordering for my family so it’s decent sized order.
Then, you also see employees leave the restaurant and walk over to the trash bin area, clean up against the trash wall to smoke a cigarette. After finishing their cigarette, they go back inside, hopefully wash their hands, and prepare making food again. But I think the smoking area they have to go to and the condition of the exterior which they lean up against to take some pressure off their knees and ankles leaves their clothes smelling. I could definitely smell trash on the employee that handed me my meal.(different employees, and the one who took my order and took my money at the drive up window, I’m not even sure that she was aware that my order bag was sitting there because she was busy listening to music and staring at the wall) I travel the Midwest for work and eat out frequently. This Burger King in particular always disappoints. And that’s saying something as Burger King’s my favorite fast food place for burgers. I don’t know if it’s a management issue, training issue, inexperienced staff issue, or what.
The food quality has gone down as well.
Get a burger here. Whooper meal just to keep things simple. Take a bite. Then go to Muncie and get the same meal and take a bite. You can tell the difference in quality. Tasteless, flavorless, mystery substance type of meal at the New Castle location.

Read moreI showed up at Burger King at 9:30 pm tonight . The sign was not lit up however, the drive thru order boards were lit up for service. Hours on Saturday night are at 11:00 pm. Lights were on inside and waited patiently and no one came . A girl came out which was a worker , I approached this lady to ask her if they were open. Her response was that they closed at nine because they were training new people on Saturday night on a holiday weekend and with high school football game ending. Money lost wow this is why Burger King will fail .. The lady also made it imperative the workers only make on average 7:35 an hour.i wouldn’t of gave 1 star but had to.
This isn’t the first time , I have gone through and been told a story !!!! This is Ghost employment because workers were hanging out in store avoiding the customer at the window...I’m through with Burger King and I’m sure I’m not the only person because 4 cars pulled in... This is also laziness because of pay rate.... Closed business soon no money flow no pay! To GM check your sales and your inventory because your night shift crew is ridiculous . Read moreAbsolutely terrible place. We ordered 4 biscuits and gravy yesterday morning and the biscuits were like hockey pucks. The manager told us to come back today and get something else anytime of the day. That, I can deal with. What I can't deal with is when we do come back and are sitting in the drive thru with one car in front and a line behind us, no one for 10minutes answers the lady in front!! When we do finally get up there to order, we told him we had a credit, he very rudely informed us that it wasn't written down and acted like we were lying!!!! We have the receipt for it and where the manager initialed it! We have and are currently sitting at this window for the past 25 minutes trying to get 3 sandwiches that we ordered!! Turns out it was a female named Kris with a really deep voice but whatever! They are very unprofessional and cannot seem to work together. I understand that sometimes people do try to con places and such but it's not who were are and we shouldn't have been treated like that. And the wait was absolutely ridiculous.
