I love Subway, but have struggled to like this location. It has gotten progressively worse the past few years. They almost never take orders online, half the time they refuse coupons or to honor specials. With limited options in town for light fast food, I still eat here often. I don't know why, honestly. I almost always leave frustrated.
I've tried to go twice in the past week and couldn't place a drive thru order or online order either time. You can't get the deal of the day at the drive thru.
Two weeks ago I went in at 6:30pm and they were out of the sub special of the day. I was in a week ago and they were out of both the cookie type and the bread I wanted.
Two days ago I received a drive thru order and they forgot items. I called 3 times to let them know to try to get credit for the next order and no one answered. I went in tonight and told them and they refused to do anything to make up for the messed up order. I mean I get it I guess, they would have to take my word for it, but I eat here often, I'm pretty sure they know me. It just adds to the frustration.

Read moreHorrible drive-thru service! The last time that I used their drive-thru, they messed up my order. My husband used it about a month ago and they got 2/3 subs correct. Used the drive-thru tonight because I was tired and didn't want to get out of my vehicle after a long day. I got home and didn't have any meat or cheese in my chicken/bacon ranch salad. I took it back, went inside and the manager knew right away what my salad was and said "I'll fix you a new one" and went into the drive-thru area. I said that I wanted it made in front of me. She came out of the drive-thru area with my salad in hand. She wasn't going to make a new one, she was going to just throw the meat and cheese on and call it done. So, she made a new one in front of me. Didn't offer anything for my trouble either. I gave 2 stars because the food is good and if you go inside and can see them making it, it gets made correctly. But, don't use the drive-thru....I don't even know why...
Read moreI went to Subway in New Castle today and was surprised how run down it was. Windows were filthy, paint chipping off of the outside of the building, the temperature inside was roasting. There were what seemed to be an infestation of gnats around the pop machine. I notified an employee of the gnats and he made a face and nodded his head. My daughter was there earlier this week and reported the gnat problem as well. I have frequented this subway often in the past but I won’t be going back anytime soon.
