Main Moon — Restaurant in New Fairfield

I have been ordering food here for the past 4 years and have always had a good experience. Tonight however, I ordered through door dash because my baby was sleeping at home. My door dash driver did not go pick up the food, and someone from Main Moon called me, yelling at me to coming pick up my food. He told me to call door dash and figure it out. I tried, but was on hold for 15 minutes. When I told him I couldn't leave my house due to my sleeping baby, he continued yelling at me, asking who was going to come pick up the food he made, that people are starving, and that I needed to come pick it up. When I said I couldn't leave the house, he hung up on me. While I understand they made a product and don't want it to go to waste, I don't appreciate being yelled at over the phone. They chose to allow door dash to deliver their food. I had already paid for my food. The customer support at door dash handled the situation, but the man I spoke to made me never want to eat...

I have searched for a decent Chinese restaurant in the New Fairfield area. I didn't want to drive too far. This restaurant is not it. I have ordered takeout on three separate occasions. I have ordered a couple of different dishes each time. After almost nine dishes, I found one, Ginger Beef with Scallions to be acceptable. The rest were less than mediocre, for example Moo Shu Pork comes uncooked with no flavor and is supposed to be accompanied with Plum Sauce. Instead it came with a tablespoon of brown liquid which didn't smell or taste like Plum Sauce. I also ordered the General Tso's Chicken was just O.K. I have order from this place many times over the years and the quality of the food and the cleanliness of the place has progressively gone down hill. I gave them one last chance this past Saturday and I ordered Pork Fried Rice, One Egg Roll, Steamed Dumplings and a Wonton Soup. The soup and steamed dumplings were ok. The eggroll was a dried out shriveled piece of crap that I threw in the garbage. The Pork Fried Rice which I was really looking forward to was horrible. It was dried out, the rice tasted old, all it had in it was pork and onions, no peas, carrots, vegetables, or egg. Real disappointment, and the place is dirtier than ever. I doubt the people that own the place care what anyone thinks but I wont ever be going back there and I will tell others not to...
