AND I GOT A PORK COOKED AND COVERED CHEESE ONIONS AND NOT SURE W AVACado plus guacamole(and the green Verde,) it was reasonable under 24$ w 2 $5.00 min desserts.. under 20$ and then w tip n tax etc guac.. but over.. BUT I MUST SAY WORTH IT.. I THINK THEIR FLAAN IS BETTER THAN THE LATIN BAKERY ACCROSS ST. (NOT AS RICH, N FIRM) ILL EVENTUALLT DO ENTIRE SECTION LOL ON FLAN N OTHER FAVE DESSERTS.. And I don't know what pact they had to sign with what creature for the recipe for the refried beans, but they're a revelation.

Read moresimply the best mexican food in new haven, beating out some tight competition in the neighborhood. we got the steak enchiladas and tacos al pastor. the quality (and quantity!) of the ingredients speak for themselves: this is a place that believes in serving their meat in thick, well-marinated chunks. and the salsas--green and red--are easy the most flavorful i have had in this city. even the refried beans here have an extra dimension of flavor that i can't quite describe. i will be coming back here....
