I had the pleasure of eating at “The Spot” last night and boy was I pleased with my experience. Not only is the pizza far superior than Sally’s in terms of quality and flavor but this is the original joint that Frank started, brick oven and all! We ordered the small original tomato pie with mozzarella. The pizza was thick enough to stand on its own, cheesy and delicious, and had an incredible flavor profile. I can’t stop thinking about it! For those who are confused about the two places, let me clear it up for you: you wait in the main line outside “Frank Pepe’s” and if you’re lucky, they tell you that there’s a table in the back for you at “The Spot”. Per the waitress, Frank started at The Spot and expanded to Frank Pepe’s in the front. What does this mean for you? It means your wait time is cut in half because there are two buildings for you to que into. There are also two parking lots, one on either side of the Frank Pepe’s building.

Came here on a Sunday at 1 for some renown pizza was not disappointed. I am a NY/NJ pizza fan, thin crust with slightly sweet tomato sauce and slices you can fold. The parking was tricky on a Sunday and after seeing the lines at the other spot up the block Sally’s we waited in line for about 10 minutes but decided on take out from the smaller spot around the block. Walked right in and ordered. The were 4 guys making pies and after about 30 minutes I was enjoying a plain cheese pie and a margarita with the family. No slices so we had left overs. The plain cheese was a bit oily and floppy with the tangy element to the sauce it was an amazing I understand the criticism of well done but this is intended. The texture of the margarita pie was crisp like a cracker with cornmeal on the bottom. Amazing sauce and texture. Will try to come back again and sit down for lunch next time. 2 pies was $47 usd

We had my daughter’s rehearsal dinner at The Spot and it was perfect! Say good bye to boring rehearsal dinners- this is the place to go! The staff was so accommodating and interacted with the brides. I couldn’t of ask for better!

Our daughter and her husband recently had their wedding rehearsal dinner at The Spot. All of the staff could not have been nicer. They were so welcoming and accommodating. The pizza was fantastic and they kept bringing out as many as we asked for. They even asked if there were any kinds they did not bring out and they would be happy to make them. Jeff was so nice to work with and Ben could not have been sweeter. The Bride and Groom were able to make their own pizza right there in The Spot kitchen, with Ben showing them the "tricks of the trade." He was an amazing teacher! How cool is that? Do not hesitate to have any sort of celebration event at The Spot. They...
