This is by far the very best place in New Haven. Forget about Yale, the real stuff happens at makehaven. The variety of tools they have, the access to knowledge, the ability to learn new skills very fast, and most of all the caring community makes it a very unique place. MakeHaven is hands down the best maker space of the several I have been a part of or toured. The team is dedicated and capable; the space, infrastructure, and capabilities are constantly being expanded; the cost of membership has stayed affordable and consistent; and every effort is made to encourage us, the members, to play an active part in the function & direction of the space.
