Que Taco 42 Ave, — Restaurant in New Hope

We wanted to try out a new spot and my S.O. and I were pleasantly surprised.

We ordered the enchiladas, quesabirria pizza, horchata & jamaica.

The enchilada plate had a decent portion of rice and beans. Everything was cooked just right as the rice was tender -not mushy, the beans were soft, both had a good flavor. The sauce on the enchiladas was good and the chicken was in my opinion-more of a tinga. It has just the right amount of spice to not take away from the flavor.

The quesabirria pizza was ok. It was made with flour tortillas. It had decent flavor, but my preference would've been corn tortillas. I find it hard to crisp up the flour tortillas. But..... the consome was good 👍🏼 it was incredibly smooth with a perfect amount of spice.

The salsa was good too 👍🏼 we had both salsa de aquacate y salsa roja. The horchata was dairy, so i didn't drink it, but the jamaica was sweetened just right.

The dining area is small, so you couldn't plan on having a ton of people dine with you.

The service was courteous & attentive

I've driven by Que Taco quite a few times and decided to stop in tonight. I got the combo platter with chicken tinga, as well as a pastor taco. My daughter got a burrito bowl. It was pretty busy when we got there, the lady at the register was very polite and friendly. If was about $18 per person with drinks, which is pretty average these days. Our order was ready within 10 minutes and we took our food to go. The tortillas are obviously made in house and are really good. The tinga was tender and flavorful. Beans and rice were fresh and tasty as well! I enjoyed the pastor taco, it was seasoned well and not dry. My daughter loved the burrito bowl as well as both the salsas. She loves spicy food and the green was almost too spicy, but she loved it. Overall I would recommend Que Taco to anyone looking for authentic, fresh tacos and other...

I honestly didn’t even get a chance to try this place out but to me customer service is number 1 when I first walked in with my wife I didn’t even get a hello , for about 5 minutes the place was empty the cook saw me and didn’t tell the cashier I was standing there ready to order I showed the cashier this promotion that they wore doing on there Facebook page and she said well I have no idea about and I was like well can you ask your manager or the owner ? And she didn’t even bother to call so I’m like is there Communication in this place and she said I don’t know and she seem like she didn’t even wanna be there honestly the food looked great and the fruit waters did as well but the service was terrible I tried giving this place a shot but by the looks of it it was not worth even walking...
