Winnetka Shopping Center — Local services in New Hope

I've been going here for years ...years it's went from super great ,safe,clean and I'm really happy to call this part of my city.......in the 90's ..ok then the 2000 hit and things started getting lazy ..no one's cleaning up after themselves ..let's just throw are trash outside our car door ..let the wind blow it !! Really !!! It's sad ..I love shopping around area it has potential and the people who come here will follow us ..so my opinion but I will start cleaning up the streets ,sidewalks, whatever or wherever I am at and do my part ..as long as others follow suit too .cause in 5 years I want to be able have the grandkids see and have a feeling of this is beautiful let's do our part too 💝 lololol ...

Unfortunately this mall is more of a eyesore than a asset.

Over the years this mall has contiusly fallen into disrepair as the greedy slum landlord is apparently either to selfish, greedy or senile to realize that it takes money and contius maintenance to make money.

There is a unique thrift store in the orginal grocery store that has has a recently switched there floor plan that now makes the store look junkier than ever before.

There is also dollar tree in the orginal bank building that tends to look rather good for being jammed into such a odd sized space.

I was at Unique Thrift Store. I love thrifting!! Loved the amount of things to look through. However I think these thrift stores like unique and savers in Goodwill are forgetting that this has used products already and the prices that they have especially on the clothing can be quite baffling. The thrift stores wouldn't have a lot more customers coming in if they continue to have pricing like a thrift store and not going above what Walmart charges for...
