This Life Time location is one of their originals and is quite low key and chill compared to most. It’s a one level club that still offers a lot when compared to all the others though - only thing missing is no Life Cafe or Life Spa. Fun fact: It’s one of only a few Life Time clubs in the entire country that has a full size Alpha training room - complete with turf grass, climbing ropes, peg boards, a massive fitness rig with rings, wall balls and plenty of room for Olympic style weight lifting! This location also boasts a separate and private GTX room that was recently remodeled! There is an indoor lap pool, hot tub, sauna, and steam room. Indoor walking/running track, Pilates, Cycle, Group Fitness, and Yoga!

I really enjoy this LifeTime Fitness location. Why? 1. Locker rooms are clean and professional. 2. Running Track. 3. Whirlpool, Sauna & Steam room. 4. Weight room is really nice. 5. Alpha (CrossFit) training room. Overall, it’s a really nice club. Even though this is a Bronze club, I actually prefer this New Hope location to many of the gold clubs. In fact I downgraded my membership level because I didn’t see the value in paying extra when this club offers everything I need. I highly recommend this club. My only complaint is that it’s not open 24 hours.

Small but very complete fitness club. They have a running track, pool, child center, fitness rooms plus clean and well appointed locker rooms. While on vacation, I come here as a guest several days a year. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. They have a very dedicated group of members as I see the same faces every time I visit. The faithful line up at 5am by the door waiting for the club to open the door. The trainers all seem like a professional group...

I love going to Life Time! They keep the space clean, the staff always greet you with a friendly welcome, and I love the group classes as most of the trainers are very supportive, encouraging, and provide challenging and fun exercise. (AMP Cycle, Shred, Strictly Strength, and Yoga. Hoping they bring Zumba back because that is a favorite too!)

The price is around $70 month which is amazing because you have access to all their classes everyday, minus the super specialized ones, which if you go often you definitely are getting a great deal. Before I was paying that monthly price for about 1-2 classes a week elsewhere and now I can take as many as I want. Which I like having the diversity of changing things up if I need to try something different.

The gym itself is modestly sized and has what you need like a track, pool, showers, spacious locker room, complimentary towels, and lots of equipment. I was excited to find out I did not have to buy a lock to lock my stuff up, they have them already installed. Overall very convenient.

I like the vibe of this gym a lot too because it is not overly crowded or a ghost town and from what I can see, everyone there is respectful and is focusing on working out and having fun. They have a separate room for child care so you won't often see crazy kids running around on the floor or locker rooms which is nice.

When the pandemic hit, Life Time was very transparent and quick to take action to make sure their members are taken care of and safe. Everyone of course wears a mask and they sanitize all the stations and equipment for you. Classes are reserve only and people are spaced away from eachother. If being physically at the gym makes you nervous they also offer online classes both live and pre-recorded.

Overall a great gym to be part of and place that I...

Don't give these guys your phone number or email as they will spam you to death, even after you tell them to stop calling you. It's always the class-less businesses that do this! And every ten minutes they play some of their company commercials on their radio system so you have a choice of being bombarded with repetitive commercials or get a set of ear-phones... 90+% of those going to LTF have headphones... so there is little to no socializing at the New Hope location.

The staff is mixed for being polite and friendly. A while back i stopped and asked a woman fitness coach for a jump rope when she was sitting at the desk and she said they were up at the front desk. Even though someone gave me one from that same desk drawer two days prior and then again two days later (from someone different). I told her it’s right in that drawer just open it and check… she would not even open the drawer. For some reason the fitness coaches find being helpful difficult as she is not the only one to be obstinate when asked for a jump rope. As a side note jump ropes cost $2, why not leave them out in the first place. It seems really odd when you have employees and they do not understand who it is who pays their check… that would be the customer.

When a business does not treat their customers well, I go elsewhere and why would you spam, cold call and run commercials to paying customers! The equipment and offered classes are very good for the price. But for me it's not worth going to a gym if the atmosphere is wrong and company policy continually finds ways to...

We have been members for quite a few years. I joined for the hydro-training classes, the times fit my schedule. We have found instructors (Angie, Marie, Shanna, Oksina, Joy and Laurie) at numerous clubs (New Hope, Plymouth, Fridley, St Louis Park, Maple Grove) to be personable and very supportive of of our work out goals. They have always been encouraging, as in try new classes, new routines programs available. Oksina in Plymouth has placed orders on line for swim shoes for many many participants. (A very time consuming process she does outside of her time working at Lifetime.) I love this gym and am grateful everyday I belong. We always come home to the New Hope gym for our workouts. The manager (Lindsey) has gone beyond our expectations on any issues we have had. Daphne, the nutritionist (I think is her title) has been helpful on our journey to discover new ways of eating. Because of all this support, we have started working with a personal trainer (Elliot). We have found you get out what you put in and our experience with the New Hope Lifetime has been a win-win for us. We love the options of being able to go to any of the gyms. I would like to add, a Thursday or Friday night hydro class would be really...
