If you're looking to decorate your home with things from all over the world at LOW COST, tea sets/trinkets/candles/candle holders/artwork/kitchenware/etc. (some of which are entirely handmade), this is the place for you. If you're looking to go "thrifting" for clothing deals, this is NOT the place. Though, they have a GREAT selection, you're hard pressed to find something you ACTUALLY want to wear for less than $10-20 in the shirts, and $15-30 in pants.
Their book section is full of things, but not much you'd be interested in, unless you're in dire need of some kind of soup for souls, re-reading classic science fiction, or self-help books that are actually self indulgent.
Their electronics selection appears to have many things you'd be interested in, but the majority of their things that are said to "function properly" actually do not. It turns out they have no specialists, just people that need a job. Once you arrive home & get busy with the product, and find it does not work, their return policy is a slim chance of success. Their idea of "testing" a product is to see if it turns on. Job done. No shame.
Actually, their return policy on everything is a slim chance. The employees have no specialty & very little tact or respect for customers & subsequent service.
Luckily, I only go there for the decor & kitchenware. I've found amazing things there at...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI shop here very often for my household. Having 6 kids, thrift stores are a blessing. That being said today was just a bad day with the cashiers and Iām guessing the manager on duty today 5/17/21. The professionalism they had today was little to none. I was left at the register and ignored when I tried to get my cashiers attention. I say he was cashier but he very well may have been the manager as he was handling money in the drawers of the two cashier on duty. In his plight to help his cashiers and another customer who came along after he started ringing me up, he completely left me/my purchase and did not give me a heads up that he was going to leave, come back or how long he would be. It was rude to be ignored after being told to come to the register and actually having part of my items rung up. I wasnāt helped by either of the other two cashiers who continued to call other customers up, nor did they say anything in rendering verbal aid in how long he would be in coming back to the register I stood at. I ended up walking away and leaving and they couldāve cared less. Iāve never had an issue with anyone at this establishment..in fact itās always been very pleasant and Iāve continued to come back time and time again. Shame. Iāll find another thrift store to make my āthrift homeā. It only takes one unfavorable moment for me to move on. Iāve learned that...
Ā Ā Ā Read morecustomer service is horrible. I bought a bunch of things including a very pretty sofa. I wasnāt able to fit it in my car so I dragged it back and asked to return it. Only one employee offered to help me.. the rest just stood there. He went to ask the manager, and came back to tell me no returns on sofas. I said okay well can I come back tomorrow to get it, to which he said yes. I offered my name and number but he said it would be fine. I came back and they had sold my chair. It was sitting there with a sold sign and someone elseās name and number! I asked a worker who kept telling me it was sold and I couldnāt take the sofa. They also refused to give me a refund when I was there. The girl working this day told me to call the store manager the next day before 4. I did. The store manager was a rude piece of work. She cut me off over and over to tell me thatās not their policy and I shouldnāt have left it overnight. I explained again and again that their employees told me that, so why is this on me. She finally transferred me to the general manager. She finally offered a refund (which I need to drive 30 mins to store to even get). No apology, no urgency to fix the mistake. Iāve never had such a frustrating experience at a store....
