Lizzie's — Restaurant in New Iberia

Been a huge fan of everything Elizabeth and Erik have created since Caribbean Ice, so I had no doubts this place would be incredible! For our appetizer, we got the Arancini based off of a recommendation from our waiter. Omg. I had no idea cheese and rice could be so freaking good. I had the seared salmon for my entree and it was PHENOMENAL. Thinking about it daily. Drinks were also lovely. We had a slice of lemon cheesecake and espresso cheesecake and those were both amazing. Lizzies on main has a great ventage Cafe vibe and amazing food. I passed threw to pick up something for lunch on Saturday. The menu was a few specials they had on a chalkboard and what baked goods they had made fresh for the day. We tryed The Prosciutto Sandwich and The Ham and Cheese Croissant. Both where very good served with a side of potato chips. My personal favorite was The Croissant i have never had such a crispy layered delicious delight. We will definitely be returning hopefully to try there...

Great service and atmosphere! The food is amazing! New Iberia is lucky to have a restaurant like this one. Locally owned and the chefs know what they are doing. This isn’t just another place to eat. The menu is not stagnant and we were surprised by each drink and dish we ordered. We will be back time and time again! Other restaurants should take note, and step up to the standards set...
