Dragon Palace — Restaurant in New Lenox

My family has never eaten at Dragon Palace in the past, so we cannot compare the new management or food with the old. Our first experience was last night (JAN 2020) when we ordered take-out (after getting a menu placed in our door). I'm really happy we learned of this place! My family really loved our food and will be happy to order from Dragon Palace again. My three kids and I shared one XL size Chicken Fried Rice...which we all loved, and...we have leftovers to eat today. My husband who usually orders Shrimp Pad Thai also enjoyed his meal and had leftovers as well...which usually doesn't happen. We feel portion-sizes were excellent, of course. Our experience was very positive, and we felt that the pricing was great, considering we loved our food and we all had enough to enjoy another day. The food is fairly a typical "Chinese" style of food. Nothing about them really stands out as far as taste. Unlike most places though, the chicken fried rice is actually pretty good. Decent porportion of chicken to rice and the chicken itself doesn't have that dried out taste to it.

Sweet and Sour chicken, orange chicken, and egg rolls all kind of match out the same as well.

My only problem with the place is the bubble tea. Most people don't get the tapioca shake, but my god WHY ON EARTH WOULD YOU HAVE WARM TAPIOKA BALLS? Couple times I have been here I have had the shakes with the balls between a hot/warm state. It's hit or miss, but gross when...

Unfortunately the food I received was displeasing and tasteless! I ordered Thai basil fried rice w/chicken and it is horribly dry and has zero flavor. The pan fried noodles I ordered is the same; extremely dry and has zero seasoning! I paid $27.96 for this food, and a total of $42.67 with the Door Dash fees and tip. I kindly ask that you simply refund the $27.96 or give a coupon of equal amount. Please make this right so I can leave a positive review as it saddens me that I had to leave a negative review.
