Beggars Pizza - New Lenox — Restaurant in New Lenox

The pizza is ok, the problem is had was the girls were in the back, one girl came around and acted as if she was counting the drinks that were, in the fridge the problem is just because I was sitting and waiting for the pizza I paid for the employee stood in front of the drinks fridge as if I was going to steal one I didn't say anything but sat there til my pizza was ready, after I left I waiting stood in front of the door outside to see if she was going to stock the fridge since she was standing in front of it pretending to count the drinks she NEVER stocked that fridge nobody came in to order food she continue to stay in the back I did record a video to place on social media because this was clearly racial profiling I'm afraid American and seems as if she was thinking I was going to steal which is not right when I paid for food and I can very well afford anything in that store I hope you guys fix this seems she only did because I was Black 20mins later I came back sat and which a white man sit in the lobby waiting for his food nobody was standing in front of the drinks then hmm. This happen October 10,2024 around 7:45pm check your cameras. My original post follows, I am following up to the owners response....... Even the couple sitting at the high top behind us heard that our pizza was never ordered. They offered us some of their pizza since we were 1 hour and 20 minutes waiting for ours. So I guess you/staff are liars and bullies. I didn't see Sarah go out for the pass when you said I threw my card at her. Your bar is maybe 20-24 inches deep and I tossed my card on the bar like many customers do. My wife didn't raise her voice or "yell" at anyone.. Making the customer the bad guy for your mistake is totally wrong and will never increase business.

My wife and I sat at the bar this evening and ordered a deep dish pizza at 6:20pm. At 7:00 pm we asked Sarah how much longer and she went back to check and said about another 8 minutes.7:25 we asked again and after 5 minutes were told our pizza was never ordered. We only come here on Mondays because Sarah was consistent and she provided good service. She told us tonight that things happen. Really?, things happen? Your only job is to serve the customer in a timely manner and bring the items they ordered.. I now understand why this place is so...

We have had 2 parties at this place in the past year. Our first experience was fantastic. Staff was on top of things. They accommodated our group very well. We never had to wait for anything. We just hosted another party there and it was much different. The staff wasn't friendly at all. They gave us attitude about everything. They initially told us they could take our cake ahead of time and store it in their fridge, when we went to drop the cake they said they couldn't take it. We needed another table set up, they didn't want to do it so I ended up having to do it myself. In their reception room, you get 10 pizzas and they are supposed to keep filling them. They never came back to see if we needed more and when we asked they told us it would take to long to make it. When we brought it to the attention of the management they didn't really seem to care that we were dissapointed. We have spent over $1,200.00 at this place and we totally regret it.
