I really do enjoy their food here. Especially their cheap tuna sandwiches on Friday. However one thing annoys me almost to the point of not coming back, that is the fact that their hours are 15 minutes earlier than they say they are on their storefront. Read moreMy friend is a frequent flyer at Sonny’s. She has been singing their praises for years. Today she brought me a Genoa grinder from there. The first thing I noticed was how really fresh the ingredients were! The tomato slices were ripe and juicy, the lettuce very crisp. It is made without fanfare, just really good simple ingredients. It’s quality. The bread alone is worth the price. I will certainly make this my go- to place for grinders. I understand they also sell a variety of other items like salads. First it was expensive for a large sub, $13 cash for a chicken cutlet sounds excessive.
