Asian Bistro — Restaurant in New Market

I have never been here before and will never go here again, ever! I didn't know the drill, and l told the cashier that. She said hello and asked if l placed a take out order, l said no. I thought she knew after that that l wanted to eat in. She didn't even ask me if l was dining in. I sat down at the waiting area to look at the menu and then placed my order. I asked if l could sit at a table, and she said she had to ask her manger, which l thought was odd. They had people eating there. That was when l should have canceled my order. I was going to pay, but she said l had to after l eat. So l sat at a table. The manager then came out and said l had to move to a table on the other side by the waiting area. I was already seated at a smaller table. He was very rude about it. Telling me several times. Someone else bought me my drink and food, not the manger who was also the waiter. He didn't come over and check on me. He was checking on all the others but not me. He didn't take my empty plate, another did. I wanted my check, but he didn't give me any attention. I had to ask one of the cashiers. He said the manager had to give me it, which he didn't. I was waiting again and finally got up and went to the cashier. I have never been treated so, and l eat out regularly. Worst experience ever! I do not recommend this place at all. I asked who the tip went to, whether it was to the cashier or the manager/waiter. The cashier said to the manger. Needless to say, l left no tip! He didn't earn it, he didn't do anything. All he did was be rude to me and then completely ignore me. The food wasn't even that good, either. I wish l could give this...

LOVEEEEEEE this spot! HIGHLY recommend! this place gives home cooked meal vibes and NOT that quick and easy, poor quality ingredients greasy-ness. After moving out here from MoCo (2 years ago) I was honestly nervous about this being one of the only asian spots in the green valley/monrovia area and wasn’t sure about the quality….but the universe loves me and blessed me with this small business so close to home :) The lunch special is a great reason to try different items at discounted price and the dinner menu reflects great value for what you pay ! The gentleman crew here are always on point from customer service, speed of service, cleanliness, and always having beautiful (and delish!!!!) presentation of food whether i dine in or do carry out. Sushi all around is top tier, their entrees (garlic eggplant or the treasure of the sea are my fav when i’m not eating sushi) are great portions, and their hot and sour soup is actually tasteful and not at all diluted. The tom yum and egg drop are also a fav! I could go on and on - and if ur apart of the 21+ club they also serve beer and hot sake here so you can have one while ya wait for...

I had an absolutely fantastic dining experience at Asian Bistro! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and seated promptly. The ambiance is cozy yet modern, with tasteful decor that creates a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. It’s a perfect spot whether you’re out for a casual dinner or celebrating something special.

The service was impeccable—our server was knowledgeable, attentive, and made thoughtful recommendations without being overbearing. Every dish we ordered was a hit. We started with the crispy spring rolls and the spicy tuna tartare—both fresh and beautifully presented. For entrees, the General Tso’s Chicken was perfectly crisp with a rich, tangy sauce, and the Pad Thai had just the right balance of sweet, savory, and spice.

Overall, Asian Bistro exceeded our expectations in every way. Delicious food, excellent sushi, attentive service, and a charming setting—what more could you ask for? This place has definitely earned a spot on our regular rotation....
