My compliment is to Steve the manager and the team he leads at the New Market, MD Food Lion. I always see him out on the floor, stocking shelves and saying hello to the customers, checking to see if anyone needs assistance. Most managers would hide behind the counter or in an office and he is always out working the store. His staff is always so friendly and they genuinely seem to love their job and their customers. I visited on the afternoon of 7/5/20 and the employees were all so helpful and nice. One young lady asked if I needed help finding anything in the produce especially since there are renovations taking place. My cashier, Jordyn, was especially kind and friendly. She made it a point to ask how I liked the renovations and if I had a good 4th. I really appreciated her interest in talking with me.
