Prospect Pantry — Restaurant in New Market

Definitely can accommodate all eaters. Food was good but took way too long. They need distinct people focused on serving, cleaning, and counter/cash register. Otherwise it’s a hectic operation and the person doing everything seemed a bit overwhelmed, although very friendly. Prices are fair for the portions you get but I wish they would clearly indicate that portions are on the smaller side. My spinach salad was actually okay for $9.5 but my husband’s watermelon salad was more like a small plate appetizer. Nobody is going to walk away feeling full with that. I’ve seen watermelon salads served on a bed of romaine salad with feta, and it was an entre salad. The kids waffle is small - again, good value for the price but just people used to getting waffles at breakfast places probably expect a much bigger portion. This place has a lot of potential. I hope they increase portions so that people can order one item instead of two...

While I usually don't share my dining experiences, I couldn't resist writing a post about Prospect Pantry. I've had the pleasure of having two meals there - breakfast and lunch. On both occasions, the meals were truly amazing. I can honestly say the Ruben sandwich was the best I have ever had!

The portions were generously, the food was amazing! The service I received was excellent and they were very friendly , adding to my overall enjoyment.

Without a doubt, I loved the food during both of my visits, and it's safe to say that Prospect Pantry has secured a spot on my list of go-to places. I'm eagerly looking forward to many more...

Excellent food, service and athnosphere. While I have been delayed in leaving a review, I owed this review due to the amazing service provided by Kendall and the cafes management. I stopped in a few weeks ago on my way home to Frederick from Baltimore and I was amazed on the cafes quaint and cozy atmosphere. I had a ham and cheese panini and it was sublime. It came wrapped up in the this nice little box and it was perfectly completed My deepest gratitude and appreciation to the staff as I will be returning in the near future when I am in route to Baltimore once again.
