I've eaten from the Pericos at Coors and I40, because my in-laws will pick it up when we have a family get-together and I always liked the tacos......all of them. When I finally had a chance to go to this location, I figured I would give it a shot and I pulled into the drive thru. It was already dark out and the parking lot was not lit, so I had to kinda search for the drive thru entrance as it was completely hidden by a massive bush. Not a big deal, but, none the less, confusing to a big dude wanting flautas. Ordering went ok and the 3 cars ahead of me pulled up and paid, then drove to a side lot and began waiting. I thought that they probably had large orders and my 6 pack of chicken flautas would be on our way. Not even. I was asked to do the same dance as those before me, so I danced, like a big dude that was hungry would do for his food. A full 16 minutes later, the food started to come out of the side door.....for the 3 before me. Mine took another 5 minutes. I took the bag and took off, thinking that it had to be nearly impossible to jack up flautas, but I was wrong about that presumption. Let me first say that I feel that the condiments should be of enough quantity that you can enjoy each bite with enough salsa, sour cream and guacamole to at least flavor the flautas. That being said, there was no salsa and the other two were enough to dip 4 flautas and leave the other 2 to roll around in the styrofoam, getting cold and turning to dog treats. I thought that $15 bucks a 6 pack would ensure some measure of quality assurance, but I was wrong. Don't get me wrong, the flautas were tastey.....all 4 of them. Honestly, they needed something to go with them, because they were on the dry side, not carne seca but dry. I'll probably skip the next chance and go to Bob's, across the street from Pericos and eat taco Tuesday. Just a word of advice, Pericos, dont settle for mediocrity. The South Valley KNOWS food and is scattered with mediocre, out-of-business food establishments. $15 flautas should be...

Read moreThis place is never that busy, went into the drive thru, ordered a taco plate with extra taco. It took them over 40 minutes to bring out my food, they didn't put my salsa for my tacos, tacos were burnt and cold. I spent over $25 and threw away most of it. This is the third time I went there to eat, wasn't much different than the other 2 times I went. I called when I got home, took me 10 minutes. Found out they closed at 8pm, yet still taking orders through the drive thru, I had 5 other cars behind me who ordered. It was 8:15pm when I went through drive thru. They are also very disorganized, they didn't even know what bags went to which car. I saw nothing but the young workers standing around laughing with each other. I will not eat...
